The Origin of Four Swords
I have three brothers. When we were little, we would go into our backyard and pretend we were all Link. We would make up dungeons in our minds and puzzles that needed to be solved using teamwork. We also included opposition in our pretending games. We would race to get items before our brothers did so we would have advantages over them. Sometimes the game would break down into pure fighting. As you know, these are all classic elements of the Four Swords game. We did not have Force Gems included in our game, but the similarities are still there. Did someone see what we were doing and get the idea for Four Swords from us? I personally think the whole thing is pure coincidence, but I've always thought it was pretty cool since we did all that BEFORE Four Swords came out.

Re: The Origin of Four Swords
That's not really a theory
But still... kinda cool. The idea that the FS saga was inspired by kids doing this kind of stuff is actually pretty likely. It wouldn't have been the first time kids give adults brilliant ideas.
