I always thought it's funny how...
...depending on which timeline you believe the 2D games take place in mostly, the other timeline is always so short!
Like if, let's all of the 2D games come after TWW + PH in the adult timeline, then the child timeline has only 3 games ![]() Kinda silly ![]()

Re: I always thought it's funny how...
It is set up as such as to give the developers more freedom in making future games.

This way Nintendo has the freedom to do what they please with the shorter timeline without having any historical inconsistencies to distrupt it.

Re: I always thought it's funny how...
Hmm. Well, if that's true, it'd make more sense if the adult timeline had all of the games as, well, a giant ocean has a lot less to go from then a perfectly dry and huge Hyrule.

Re: I always thought it's funny how...
It does, the child timeline (as currently believed by me) only has OoT, MM, and TP.

Re: I always thought it's funny how...
That is silly, but it is a bit dependent on which timeline theory you believe. In the one I subscribe to, the child timeline theory has MM, TP, LoZ, AoL, OoA, and OoS, and the adult one having all the games with the Cel Shading based art style. However, we are not here to discuss my timeline, I am just pointing out that it is only interesting if you like this set-up.
