Volvagia/Stallord relation.

After finishing TP I went back and played OoT on my Gamcube. I got to the fire temple and was fighting Volvagia and thought, " Hey, Volvagia looks vaguely similar to Stallord." So i compared pictures of them and saw some striking resembalances.

These are the similarities I saw:
They both have horns that curve back round their heads
They both have hair (or in volvagia's case, flames that looks like hair).
They both have long thin bodies with only two arms (although this is guess work since only half of Stalord is visible).
They can both breath fire.
They both appear to be dragons
From this points I assume that Volvagia and Stallord, if not the same creature are of the same species. Feedback and criticism on this theory would be greatly appreciated as I am new to theorizing.

Stalord seems to be a legendary stalfos whereas Volvagia is more closly related to Valoo Valoo.

valoo and volvagia probly are the same just like the great duku tree is the same in oot and ww

Obviously you know nothing about TWW then, poes-are-unebil. The OoT Deku Tree died, there's no wy it can be the TWW Deku Tree. Unless you man the sprout. And Volvagia DIED, it can't be Valoo. Even if it didn't, Valoo's a good guy, Volvagia isn't.

Now, back on topic...I dunno, Stallord looks too wide at the ribs to be releated to Volvagia. Volvagia was more of a snake-ish dragon, and Stallord is wide up in the ribs. Plus the arms are too long.

Stallord is more like a giant Stalhound. There was a discussion about this earlier, and I think it was decided that Stallord was a giant beast used to execute prisoners. The guards threw them in, and the beast ate them.

I seriously doubt any connection, though for some reason people believe there is.

And another thing, Volvagia and Valoo are two totally different types of dragons. Volvagia doesn't have back legs, or remotely the same body type.

Is there any recemblence to Stallord and that giant stal-thing from MM? I vaguely remember racing him in majoras mask many years ago, I don't even remember what he looks like. I was just thinking, maybe there are/were a couple of these stalgiants stalking the lands

Skull Keeta is a giant Stalchild. So not quite. I think I once started a thread wondering that, but it was disproven.

I see the similarity but I guess it can only be speculated because like you said Beltom you can only see half of stallord.

Volvagia
2 Horns
Small ribcage throughought body
No arms

U shaped jaw

Volvagia has two arms....
Anyway, Volvagia is a snake type dragon. Stallord looks like he was probably a normal dragon or a beast of similar build. They are at most in the same sub-species. Other than that, no relation.

If you look at the picture, you can see Volvagia has two arms, and has a V-Shaped jaw, so those points are irrelivant.

Actually, I got the two switched. Volvagia has the V jaw. Stallord is more of a U.

Also, colossal arms vs barely noticeable arms.

A creature with the Stal suffix was always once something living. The stalchildren in MM were said to be the soldiers of Ikana and Skull Keeta was their captain. Stallord is even given the title "Twilit Fossil" which means it it the skeleton of a previously living thing.

Look at the boss chambers, in the second phase of Stallord it actually looks kinda like the boss chamber of Volvagia

but that's only the boss chambers i don't agree with Volvagia and Stallord being the same

Yeah...except there's no lava, and the battle is waged around the side instead of on top. Judging from how the spinner worked, a pillar in the room would make the most sense regardless of anything else.

It's a trick of the angle. Stallord has more of a middle ground in his jaw, it's not a sharp V, nor is it a completely curved U. To be specific, it is sharp U!
