[Note] I have changed the placement of the four swords saga due to the force gems thing from PH, I also moved the oracle games as well due to the fact that the figurines of Din and Faore in MC state they are the characters from the OoX games thanx xKillswitchx for pointing that out to me.

***Explanation***
start off with Oot and the split timeline, with MM, TP, TWW & PH falling into their usual places.

Continuing on i have aLttP (coming before LoZ and AoL due to the info from the aLttP box) followed by LA and BS Zelda no Densetsu as it easily follows in the story as link is away on Konholit Island Ganon returns and one of two children are warped into Hyrule to defeat him.

Next we have LoZ and AoL as usual. Then finally i have the CDI and Game & Watch games as they are direct sequels to the original Zeldas. BSZ1 I have labeled into this group as it would probably fall into this time as well (similar situation to BSZ3) but could be totally removed as it is almost identical to LoZ aside from your main character and therefore be a mere retelling....

C&C

My first problem would be your placement of the Oracle games. Your reasonong is the Master Sword's appearance, which many believe to be a mere easter egg, as it is more of a bonus feature, seeing as the sword plays no vital role in the story and isn't required to beat the games.

Also, we see the Triforce is whole at the beggining of the Oracle games, yet at the end of TP, it seems to still be seperated. Where would this event occur?

wow this post actually got posted? it gave me some wierd error when trying to post it earlier, plus it didn't show up when i posted it... but yea i had thought of that but the master sword thing got me so i changed it from where i had thought it being (after LA and before LoZ [the oox link does bear a resemblance to the alttp and la link])... but i had thought of that and the fact that there has to be more chapters missing between TP and aLttP due to gannon having all of the triforce as opposed to a single piece as in zelda 3. so really i wasnt sure where to place them

Zelda 3 is ALttp, so I'm confused about that statement.

oh sorry i didnt change the timeline any when i edited it... i merely fixed a few errors i made on the apearance is all...
i know alttp and zelda 3 are the same i was just changing it up a bit (kinda like saying him as opposed to john repeatedly)

Because of the state of the Triforce (being whole), and its general lack of impact on the rest of the series, I'd currently place them last, following a late AoL placement. That said, I really don't have an overall placement for the games, it's something I play around with quite a lot.

See, I don't know much of the Seasons, and I lack much knowledge when it comes to TMC and a few others, so I'm still kind of toying with the idea. That's why I thought it would be nice to have a timeline I could see. Makes it easier to work with. *ponders*

The one thing people say is they put AoL late in the series, due to the fact you fight Dark Link and not Ganon, BUT I was thinking about that the other day and everytime you die at the game over screen, theres Ganon's shadow type deal. I don't get why he's at the game over screen if he's not in the game. Hm. *ponders*

Do you mean Oracles instead of TMC?

Well, as AoL is set after LoZ, where Link kills Ganon, the main part of the story is Ganon's minions are trying to resurrect their leader through a ritual involving Links blood. This is why we see his shadow at the game over screen, signifying you have failed, and Ganon will now be resurrected.

The most common arguement over where TMC is placed is either as the very first game, due to a quote from Aonuma where he stated that Four Swords was the earliest story, and with TMC being it's prequel, that would place it first. The credability of the said quote is being disputed though, as Aonuma didn't actually work on TMC, as it was a Capcom project (as were the Oracle titles). Another thing that contradicts this, is FSA being the last of the FS trilogy and linking quite nicely to Alttp, which would surely place it later in the timeline, seeing as how Alttp cannot possibly be before many other titles. So TMC would likely go in either of these orders:

TMC-FS-FSA-->OoT

OoT-->WW-PH-->TMC-FS-FSA-->Alttp

i used to think of TMC as the first game myself, but from what i read about the tingle game (havent gotten to play it yet... is it even out in the us?) tingle can continue on so long as he has rupees. which would put MM before TMC due to tingle being a 35 y/o wierdo who his dad cant stand in MM and just continuing to live on to TMC (or at least the tradition of dressing like him)

I asume that you put the oracles there because of the figurines ... But the best explenation is to put them after LoZ/AoL.

And if you're putting the majority of games in the child timeline then TMC comes first.

I understand your theory... actually, it puts alot of other theorys down. But, in a way, I sort of don't get it.

TMC First: Because it has no proof to come after TP nor the oracles.

OoX after AoL: Because the Triforce is shown whole at the end of AoL in the castle. And that's exactly where the Triforce is at the beggining of it.
