Something to ponder... ***SPOILERS FOR PH***

So, if you've played PH then you know that the Ocean King takes on his natural form.. a whale... What if said whale is also the Wind Fish? Of course it wouldn't alter the time line any... But, if you think about it... Since the Ocean King has already dealt with Link... it would explain why he wanted him to help him fend off the nightmares.

The windfish and the Ocean king are entirely diffrent. The windfish is far more colorful and has wings, while the ocean king has brushy eyebrows. next to that The world of the ocean king is diffrent from the normal world where WW took place.

the only thing that is similar about them is that they are whales.

This sounds like when people thought Jabu Jabu was the Wind Fish. I haven't played the game, but apparently PH takes place in another world. Unless he looks like a graphically improved version of the Wind Fish, or the game says something like that, then assume it isn't.

If they're not related somehow, then Nintendo needs to stop 'homaging' its own games - it's getting confusing.

If PH really is a dreamland, then either they're trying to link PH to LA, or they're being really annoying to timeline theorists.

But maybe that's it. By linking the FS saga to TWW through force gems, and PH to LA through a whale diety, they could be trying to put most games in the Adult timeline.

Except that that makes little sense since TP appears to try to put ALttP in the Child Timeline. Rather, the similarities may just be due to the fact that the two timelines were once one, and the Whale and his Force Gems were around before the split, thereby making him and the Gems present in both timelines after the split.

The Ocean King ruled the oceans in PH before the flooding of the world caused them to exist in the first place? xD

Also, the Temple of Time (IIRC, TP's only real ALtP reference) existed before OoT as well.

According to some theories, there are oceans in the Child Timeline as well.

Also, the Temple of Time was in a novel location in TP, which indicated how the MS changed its resting place between OoT and ALttP.
