I still think you should show a list of common abbreviations like I mentioned on MSN, things such as SW, TC, BS, etc

Japanese>English. It could come up if an NoA translation contradicts the Japanese version.

Re: Newbie's Guide to Theorizing

Please put in the updated version how tMC CAN'T be first. It makes me mad when people come here and try to post the GT timeline or something really really close to it.

Paragraphs breaks are your friend, really, I promise.
And if you'd like to get your timeline theory actually read by some people, then post it as a thread...don't post it in this thread.

^No proof for that. The only thing we know of the Majora's Mask is that it was used for hexing rituals. There is no other backstory given to it.

Re: Newbie's Guide to Theorizing

I'd like to note that Adult Link appears in WW, in Hyrule Castle, there is a statue of him.

I'm sure anyone who has played it knows what I'm talking about.

I'll try to report back with a screenshot.

Re: Newbie's Guide to Theorizing

Have to say Hombre, your guide gives a fair trial here. I just have a few things to add in regards to you starting out with timeline-oriented info.

Since this is a newbies guide, I think it might not be wise to lead newbies right into "timeline theorizing". There are certain obstacles which, I feel, need to be explored in depth before any beginning theorist even tackles the matter for themselves. These crucial storyline elements being:

1. Ancient Hyrulian History - Constitutes TMC - First debates and any pre-OoT events

2. The Seal War - ALttP backstory equals or does not equal to OoT, FSA, and/or separate event somewhere else in the timeline

3. LoZ/AoL Backstory - Post OoT, post ALttP, or separate event somewhere else in the timeline

All three of these areas constitute a different perspective upon the series timeline as a whole... I highly recommend this to be implemented (elaborated in your own words of course) to help prepare newbies before they fall into the unfortunate trap of insufferable, impatient, know-it-all theorists AND annoyingly over-analytic "devil's advocates" out their.

Edit: I'm only pointing this out now since you've decided to bring back the old guide, and the fact that a lot of new theorists are arising on these boards of late. Newbies should be reminded intensely to do all their "homework" in certain regards.

Hombre I am really surprised at you. Your exactly me, with better grammar and a little older. I say something, 2 days later I find you said before on an earlier post.

Again, thanks for the guide, it'll be helpful in theorizing.
