Volvagia, Morpha, Molgera-Relation?

you know i have been thinking about these three bosses and how much the same they were, could they be relatives brothers sisters? Morpha is a water element snake, Molgera a earth element snake and volvagia a fire elemental snake, yeah i know volvagia is a dragon but look at them all

Re: Volvagia, Morpha, Molgera-Relation?

morpha is just the little thing in the middle, not the whole thing. Volvagia is related to Barba though (from zelda 2, volvagia in japanese version) and Molgera is probably related to the lanmolas.

Re: Volvagia, Morpha, Molgera-Relation?

Morpheel and Molgera may have a relation, but they are the only ones I can see with one. Volvagia, no matter how much you look, is not in relation to the others, she is a dragon. And Morpha is simply an Amoeba controlling the water. There is really no relation in who you described.

So that would be a big NO on the idea of any relation. They are different species who do different thing. Ecept that Molgera can fly. I don't think he's just jumping really high, because he turns in midair.

I wonder if Link was meant to lose his sword during the Morpha battle before the final cut, judging from the pic? It doesn't matter, though.

Re: Volvagia, Morpha, Molgera-Relation?

Valoo Valoo has a closer relation to Volvagia than the whatever it's called.

The Whatever it's called (I think it's "Gardian of the seal mokalia" or something like that) is a more close relationship to Twinmold/Trimold.

And morpha? ... Morpha just doesn't fit in.

1. The "Seal War/Imprisoning War" mentioned in the manual, which I believe to refer to the events of OoT;

Re: Volvagia, Morpha, Molgera-Relation?

really they seem elementally different. okay maybe not volvagia. but srry about morpha, honestly, in my quest to learn everything water related in all zelda games. like all bosss temples and things in the temples and bios about the bosses. i really had no idea that morphe was just that ball controlling the water. woooow! no idea what so ever, how stupid of me, well this thread has been pretty much clear.

Re: Volvagia, Morpha, Molgera-Relation?

I'm sorry, but Morpha is not just 'a ball controlling the water'. That ball is the nucleus, and Morpha, being an Ameoba, part of the kingdom Protista, would naturally have a nucleus. It's all in the study of Biology. Anyway, I too do not see any similarities between Volvagia, Morpha, and Molgera. Volvagia, who is a Lava Dragon, Molgera, who looks like a Lanmola, and Morpha, who is a (way) supersized micro-organism that has ultimate control over the water have no logical similarities.

Re: Volvagia, Morpha, Molgera-Relation?

So if Morpha is an amoeba, can we say that it in fact had no control over the water. that the 'water' was in fact Morpha's ectoplasm, and that the central 'ball' was the nucleus?

Re: Volvagia, Morpha, Molgera-Relation?

Well, later in the battle proof of such is revealed when another tail emerged from the pool. Still, that doesn't explain why Morpha couldn't just bring a tail out of anywhere in the pool whenever Link fell in. That just proves that answering any question opens pathways that just get blocked by new questions. I think it's safe to say that Morpha was the one who lowered the water level in Lake Hylia and created the curse that froze Zora's Domain. Oh, and I think you mean cytoplasm, not ectoplasm.

Re: Volvagia, Morpha, Molgera-Relation?

Molegra is related to the worms in LTTP. Landmoles I think. Morpha isn't even a serpent, she's a ball.

Re: Volvagia, Morpha, Molgera-Relation?

I was thinking that Morpha was the little thing that you fight in the first part of the boss battle in TP against Morpheel. I just figured maybe that you never saw the whole body the first time around in OoT, and that they are actually the same monster.

Re: Volvagia, Morpha, Molgera-Relation?

Mabye someone have already said this, but:
1. Molgera is most likely related to Lanmola and Twinmold.
2. Morpha is a eye-like ball, he's just making the snake arm.
3. Volvagia is related to the dragon in Zelda 2.

Re: Volvagia, Morpha, Molgera-Relation?

How many times must I say it?! Morpha is not a ball! It is not an eye either! Morpha IS the water in the boss room of the water temple, which is actually a giant Amoeba! Please, if anyone else is thinking of posting about Morpha being a ball, or an eye, look at its title (Giant Aquatic Amoeba), and then look up Amoeba for crying out loud! It's so annoying when people don't listen to those who have actually taken biology class!
