Question Ganon's Tomb (spoilers)

Wow, haven't been here in a while. Anyways, at the end of TP, Link stabs Ganondorf in the chest, and Ganon tries to revive himself. For some reason, Ganon can't call his triforce, probably linking to the Master Sword in his chest. Ganon then dies.
Then, we have WW. Hyrule is flooded, and Link goes to the "Real Hyrule" in search of the Master Sword. Link enters the castle to find tons of enemies, frozen in time. Link solves the puzzle, enters the underground lair, and retrieves his sword, and all of the enemies are alive again. Time has restarted. It is VERY Godly power that all of this happened so quickly.
My theory on all of this is that the pedistal holding the Master Sword is none other than Ganon's Tomb. This makes sense to me because the WW Ganon was possibly a direct decendant of a reincarnation or son of Ganon. That son/reincarnation must have waged war on Hyrule to get the Master Sword out of the body, giving that son/reincarnation Ganon's powers. The son obviously won, the soldiers just couldn't find the body. That can explain why Moblins were scavenging the castle. When WW Link pulled the Master Sword from the pedistal, the powers were freed from Ganon's body, and he was allowed to contradict the God's powers with his own. This restarted time in Hyrule.
That's about it. Also, how do you spell pedistal? I think I got it right.

Re: Ganon's Tomb (spoilers)

That's genius, friend.

A creative and original theory.
Though the split timeline would argue with this I believe this may make a new timeline, just fan influenced obviously.

Maybe Hyrule was submerged and time stopped to stop the ravaging and searching by them? When the true hero got the sword he'd obviously be able to fight them off anyway.

Wow, this opens a lot of possibilities.

Re: Ganon's Tomb (spoilers)

It's a good theory, except WW Ganondorf, OoT Ganondorf and TP Ganondorf are the same man, and that TP doesn't exist in the same timeline as WW.

But it would make a brilliant fan-fic

It's spelt pedestal.

Nice theory, cant see anything wrong with it.

Hombre, you just contradicted yourself by saying that they're all the same guy, but TP's in a different timeline, meaning it cant be the same guy.

No, he did not. One person in two different timelines can still be the same guy, in a sense. Just different versions.
WW Ganondorf
Ganondorf <
TP Ganondorf
Same origin for both: therefore, the same person. At least, if you assume that you are the same person as the baby that was given your name at its birth all those years ago.

Re: Ganon's Tomb (spoilers)

Good theory, but I always thought that the pedestal was where Ganondorf's powers were kept, as opposed to Ganondorf himself. Ganondorf was already wreaking havoc in the Great Sea before Link released the Master Sword in WW, and he was already in spirit form in TP. Link releasing the Master Sword simply gave him much mroe power than he had previously. It would be cool to have a 'son of Ganon' thing going on, though, wouldn't it?

I agree with the theory that Ganondorf could not call upon the powers of the triforce peice becouse of the Master Sword, but I must ask. WHERE IS THE PROOF THAT GANONDORF ACTUALLY DIED. As far as I can tell, Ganon cannot truely die as long as he holds the triforce of power (as stated by him at the end of Oot, and as explanation to his death at the end of WW), and while the Master Sword prevented him from using it, it did not actualy take it away (how could a sword, even the master sword, do that anyway? (And If it did, how do you explain where it went?)). And when Zant commited suicide, he destroyed Ganon's life line, destroying his physicle body and sending him back to the Twilight relm. Thus Ganon was simply put back into the state he was stuck in at the begining.

For all we know, it's possible. I bet Nintendo made that spart a bit scetchy in case they want to do a sequel.

Why do you all say that? That angle is barely enough to crack your neck (a habit of mine, so I know this off-hand). It was a signal, people, a signal.

It meant that Zant was in control, he signaled Ganondorf to die.

Ganon was living off Zants existance. The only way for Zant to 'kill' Ganon would be to kill himself. Besides, if Zant was still alive, what do you think Midna would do to him when she got back? :XD
