A strange find in Twilight Princess (Possible SPOILERS)
(I couldn't decide whether to put this in the theory or GC/Wii section, so move it if you see fit)
Alright, well, I was in the courtyard of Hyrule castle, when I found something puzzling. Once you pass the foes of the eastern gate of the courtyard (on the wii version), you have to square off with King Bulbin. It wasn't until after he was defeated that the floor of the fighting arena caught my eye. Some of the stone work had engravings very eerily similar to the symbol found all over the Twilight Palace. (I had to take the images via my cell phone, so my apologies for the quality ^_~) ![]() ![]() This is an image with the symbol found in the Twilight Palace ![]() I have no idea what this means, but I know a lot of people on this forum are wonderful at linking similarities. Any thoughts? Does this tie in to any other theories?

Re: A strange find in Twilight Princess (Possible SPOILERS)
Hey, you're right, it's awfully similar to each other. This is a fun find, but does not really contain a theory. But I can think up one with this... If the floor in Hyrule Castle shows things also shown in the Twilight Realm, perhaps the two castles are related. Or maybe Ganon put it there to his liking.. What do you people think?

Re: A strange find in Twilight Princess (Possible SPOILERS)
I had to look at least three times
but yeah, you're right. It's almost exactly the same. Which could mean that the dark tribe was related to the current Hyrule culture. Or the developers just ran out of ideas and thought no one would ever notice. The twili have been seen with Gerudo signs as well, so it could mean that they made all those signs up, and that other people like Gerudos and Hylians took some parts of the twili culture, similiar to how the Mesopotamians (sp?) came up with writing.

Re: A strange find in Twilight Princess (Possible SPOILERS)
This isn't anything that you should be getting too worked up about, and thinking deep on. In Zelda games, there are always "symbols" and the like spread around the game. For example, remember the symbols on the blocks you push around in Ocarina of Time? That symbol is seen on other places than the blocks.
It's like how the Triforce is always plonked around.
