Putting the Oracle Games in Order

Does anybody else think that one of the oracle games is meant to go before the other?

I personally think that OoA goes before OoS because if you play them in that order then you can see Ambi in various parts of Holodrum throughout the game. I have not found any equivalent for playing them the opposite way around.

There is no order. You can play whatever Oracle game chronologically to your choosing. Although, in the mangas, Seasons takes place first. Then again, the mangas aren't considered canonical, so, I suppose the point is moot.

There are, actually, a few details that point towards a OoS - OoA placement.

The story within the instruction manual for OoS occurs before that of OoA.
As mentioned, although not canon, the Mangas appear in this order also.

Another snippit, is the serial numbers for the games:

OoS: GBC P AZ7P
OoA: GBC P AZ8P
These can be found on the packaging of the boxes. True, this is the order of release, but as they came out at the same time, I'd say coupled with the above evidence, it certainly points towards the OoS-OoA arch.

Can you quote the instruction manuals to back that up? I've only got the Ages manual.

I'm not sure about other countries (if it's even different), but that is a good find.

The OoS manual sets up the story, whereas the OoA manual does not, suggesting it follows after OoS.

Why would there be an equivalent? I don't follow...

If you do Seasons first, then you'll find Rosa (and some other Subrosians) in Labrynna. They take Ambi's place, so to speak.

Ah, thanks Rew, I understand where he was coming from now.

They are strange games, they are interchangable, but if one did want to make an absolute placement, there is more evidence pointing towards a OoS-OoA placement.

Thanks for the update Rew, that was exactly the kind of thing I was looking for.
I guess there is a bit more evidence for OoS-OoA then.
