Re: sheikah tribe and vaati connection
just noticed that, if you look at the symbol at the center of vaati's 2nd form in the minish cap, that symbol is the same one for the sheikah. my freinds, i thin there is a connection btwn the minish, or possibly just vaati, and the sheikah. the evidance couldnt be any cleare than this, but the real question is what type of a connection is their, whether vaati passed down his knowledge or power down to the protectors of the royal family, we dont know.
post what you think!! also, the symbol for vaati's sorceror stage appears in tp as the lock for the statue guarding the entrance to the sky cannon under kakoriko village!! this might also mean theres a connection with the ooca, because that statue was part of their tecnology Last edited by Big Bro Davidia; 08-30-2007 at 02:22 PM. Re: sheikah tribe and vaati connection
don't double post, just edit.if u double post, the mods will delete them and u will recieve an infraction.I love threads about the sheikah, but i just can't see there being any connection between Vaati and Sheikah. There is hardly any evidence.Good thinking, though!

Re: sheikah tribe and vaati connection
Indeed, symbols made up of an eye are quite common in the Zelda universe. It is used as a representation of evil, and so should not be the basis for a connection further than evil.

Re: sheikah tribe and vaati connection
Not at all, the Sheikah Eye is referenced as an "eye of truth", with truth indicating justice etc.
The use of eyes as symbols has always been present, but they're not the exact same eye. Agahnim's symbol is not the same as the Sheikah's, nor is Veren's, and neither is Vaati's. |

Re: sheikah tribe and vaati connection
The Sheikah symbol is the eye of truth in fact most enemies use this symbol because the game directors liked it and thought it looked shadowy. The Sheikah are a spirit tribe but they have a shadow look. Most enemies, mostly Vaati looks like a shadow tribe but not the same as the Sheikah

Re: sheikah tribe and vaati connection
I agree, sheikah are good but for how long? We must not forget my strong feelings for the Sheikah being the interlopers.

Re: sheikah tribe and vaati connection
I believe the enterlopers were outcasts members of Shiekah, Hylian, and Gerudo. Members of multiple races, but not any one race in general.
