There is only one Link!

There is definatley only one Link. The order of the games and his age correspond as follows:

Ocarina of Time: 10/17
Majora's Mask: 11
Oracle of Ages: 11
Oracle of Seasons: 11
Link's Awakening: 11
The Wind Waker: 12
The Phantom Hourglass: 12
The Minish Cap: 13
Four Swords Adventures: 13
A Link to the Past: 14
The Legend of Zelda: 15
The Adventure of Link: 16
Twilight Princess: 17

Here's some proof:

After Adult Link saved Hyrule in OoT, a man wrote down everything that had happened. He just so happened to be holding that scroll as Zelda turned back time. He, seven years younger, was with the scroll, and just thought that it was a legend from hundreds of years back. That's why they call Link "The Hero of Time". Link and Zelda, the only ones who remembered, never told anyone.

While Link was saving the other two lands in the Oracle series, Hyrule was flooded. He ruturned on boat, and becuase the sea was now bigger, he was shipwrecked to one of Hyrule's mountaintops, the island where Marin lived.
He lost his memory in the shipwreck, and forgot everything. Zelda, aware of Ganondorf's escape, disguised herself as a pirate and left with real pirates so she was better suited to The Great Sea.

Well TP happened 100 years after OoT and WW happened 100s of years after OoT. So unless link cant age that isnt true. There is alot more I can say to disprove this but, 'nuff said.

Great theroy!! But no.... If there was only one Link, he would be OLD! Wind Waker happened about 1000+ years after Ocarina of Time, and Twilight Princess happened about 99+ years after Ocarina of Time...

The game expressly tells us that this Link is not the Hero of Time. In fact, the closest they get to indicating the opposite is the statement "you are the Hero of Time reborn. So your saying he magicly got a sister. And ganon can be sealed and let out multiple times in 7 years? Plus there is a "split timeline". Thus disproving this theory :3

This theory doesnt work T_T. They say "you are the reborn hero of time". Can the deku tree grow in a few years? Can races evolve in a few years? Read some other theorys to get an idea.

Oh boy another one of those... So where do I start...

1. Nintendo confirmed there are more Links.
2. There is a split, confirmed.
3. Even if there wasn't TWW happens HUNDREDS of years after OoT, again, confirmed by Nintendo.
4. As said before, Vaati, Ganondorf, Onox, all in just 7 years?
5. This would mean that there is also just one Zelda, which is again impossible because she never recognizes Link.
6. Ganondorf doesn't recognize Link in TP.
7. How could Hyrule change that much in 7 years geographically?
8. In TWW, are you suggesting that the Deku sprout from OoT grew that big in less then a year?

This is but a few evidence that contradict this "theory". Sheesh, where you get these ideas?

...TP happened 100 years after OoT, the temple of time is destroyed, the kingdom is now divided by provinces, kakariko was rebuilt.
TWW happened at least 1000 years after OoT, hyrule has flooded (an entire land can't flood in 2 years) the kokiris and maybe the Zoras evolved.
if your theory was true then Link and all Hyrule had lost hes memoey like 10 times and the land himself changes once a year.

Sorry M&O but this theory is wrong. I suggest reading trough some of the older threads about the topics your interested in or just ask somebody if you're new to theorizing.

^Mike87 has a point, there is no ingame proof that directly points to the split time theory Idea.

also the only quote I heard about the split timeline theory was the one that stated there was two endings in OoT. I would like to read the exact quote that was said to conform the split timeline theory.

Anyhow back to the origional subject.

However there is direct ingame proof against the one link theory. The King of the Red Lions even says that WW link is not the hero of time. also Everyone forgot where Hyrule was in WW. If it happened within 7 years everyone would know about hyrule.
