Four swords evidence question

is there any evidence etc. in the four sword which came with ALTTP for the GBA, as i haven't played it because i'm the only person i know that has ALTTP for the GBA, so i never got to play. I really need any evidence in the game so i can place in my timeline.

From what I know, FS has absolutely no connections to any Zelda games, hence why at the time it was released, it could have been placed anywhere. But now that FSA (a direct sequel to FS) is out, we know where to place FS, due to FSA having strong connections to ALttP.

I suppose that Sentient is correct.
Many take the developer quote saying that FS is the oldest game to heart,
when indeed the translation could also mean that it was the latest game released (at that time).

Also,as Sentient said,at first FS connected to nothing,and therefore,with reference to the "oldest tale" quote,I'd say Nintendo said that back then to avoid slipping it in between other games,as of course,it connected to nothing.
