Gohma
Ok I was going to enter the contest with this but i didn't get time to write it so i wanted to see if the bombers thought it was plausible. I was thinking about Gohma from OOT the deku tree and the boss in TWW in the volcano. I was thinking because since Gohma from OOT could make hacthlings ( or something like that) that one of them got to death mountain and adapted to the volcano to become the boss in TWW. I would like your opinions.

Re: Ghoma
king of termina, one of the Bombers, made a quite articulate article on that subject already, speaking on the evolution of Gohma throughout the series. He even included genera and species. You can probably find it on their board.
BTW, Gohma, not Ghoma.

HurriPen, that's presumably an actual reason for closing this thread.

Re: Ghoma
You know you can edit your previous posts for spelling and grammar mistakes, right? Not sure about topic titles though. Anyway, misspelling imaginary words is more common than anything else, so don't sweat it.

Re: Ghoma
Also, just because someone else has made a theory on the subject does not forbid others to do the same. If a theory can be presented in this thread, I see no reason as to why it should be locked down.

Re: Ghoma
That's a very nice theory you have there Commander Thor.
It is entirely plausible I suppose that one of the hatchlings escaped into death mountain and then just evolved/adapted to fit the new fiery surrounding. Would this theory also propose that one of the hatchlings became the Gohma in Twilight Princess? Or perhaps the Gohma in one of the oracle games? You could examine the similarities and differences between their appearances, attack patterns, location, etc. etc. I would be most pleased to read an article that would perhaps bring up some different perspectives on this classic Zelda boss than those of King of Termina. Don't get discouraged by some of these posts. Good-Luck! ....oh and to edit the title of a thread click 'edit post' in your first post, then click 'go advanced'. You should be able to edit it from there. Last edited by The Black Knight; 04-29-2007 at 11:22 AM. |

Re: Ghoma
You know, this resembles the brood of Ungoliant from Middle-Earth. That could be the case here. Looks like there is some precedence for such a view, but I am not sure how you would find in-game evidence for this. Still, a good idea. That is a bit more than can be said for a lot of things posted here (some based around unorthodox views of what a parallel world is).
