If you decide that not all creator quotes are canon, then it becomes significantly easier to say that the TP quotes didn't dictate a split timeline. Especially in this case, in which it's really a combination of TWW and TP quotes that gives us the full picture. You just ignore the one you think isn't represented by the course of the series and move on. In this case, I imagine the "two endings" quote is ignored, after witnessing the context of TP, in favor of the OoT-TP-TWW quote and the quote about the Child events, meaning that the Ganondorf execution/sealing is the only ending of OoT that carries into future Zeldas, in a single timeline (effectively explaining the MM references in TWW combined with the incompatibility with the execution and the Adult OoT events).

Most people wind up ignoring quotes to some degree, case-in-point being the OoT=IW quotes and the LoZ-ALttP order (the latter of which is really only contradicted in the also-ignored BS Zelda games).

Lex, no need to bother really. Every evidence that is needed is posted in the thread. This is just a shameless act of provocation. If Granny and his group really resorted to this then they did lose.

Nope. It was clearly stated that it was intended to be between the two. More recently this progressed to it being just "after OoT", but the alternative has never been explicitly ruled out in any on-the-record statement (Aonuma's TWW-related comments in the infamous TP interview were hardly conclusive, especially if you still religiously believed the OoT-TP-TWW order).

Lol, in all honestly I think both timeline theories are incorrect...on the basis that it's basically Nintendo's fault for messing up the storyline and sequence of events. It also doesn't help that many of the older Zelda games...like the nes ones don't have much of a story, other than...go save the princess and kill this pig thing. And another factor...and this is the one that makes me a skeptic on the split timeline...and timelines in general...are the Capcom based games...such as MC and OOA/OOS which pretty much come out of nowhere with this random information mixed in with familiar characters and words. (The minish idea angers me.)

But I agree with the split more due to the idea that the timeline does appear to split after OoT...and I can see where people come from seeing that event.
Also the appearance of the castle in Hyrule in WW...compared to the one in TP. The one in WW hovers over nothing basically...much like Ganons Tower before it was destroyed. And then the TP one still sits on land, with a small moat...thus concluding the child timeline half.

In the end, it's all confusing.

Their IPs match exactly hense they are the same person. I banned Gamer1151 and Super Ganny might be coming next. Duplicate accounts, as the rules say, make an automatic IP ban for ANY user under that IP. That includes Super Ganny and his clone. So they both will be banned.
