*pinch of salt* where would SCII fit into your timeline

take this with a pinch of salt, i know Soul Caliber II isn't in Zelda canon.
However if it was, where would it fit in.
it does have a storyline

Biography
Hyrule's tranquility was shattered by the arrival of several disasters, which brought opaque, ominous clouds with them. Eventually, it was discovered that an unknown magician was to blame for all that had happened. Just as the people were about to lose all hope, the sun miraculously returned as Link, having been summoned by Princess Zelda to find the disasters' source, successfully defeated the magician. The people of Hyrule rejoiced in the belief that eternal peace would rule; but it eventually became clear that the magician responsible for the disasters was in fact controlled by an evil sword from another world, Soul Edge, and that the fragments of Soul Edge had been gathering in the other world. Knowing that the resurrection of the evil blade must be prevented at all costs, Link chose to travel to the other world and destroy Soul Edge himself. He gathered his trusted Master Sword and Ocarina of Time, and transported himself off on a secret journey.

Link can also use the "Armos Class" Weapons.

* This game's Link borrows his appearance from "The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time", but his profile makes it clear he's not the same one.

After ALttP/LA, based on the storyline cues.

Presuming, of course, that the "magician" is Ganon.

The only real problem is that he has the Ocarina of Time, but obviously isn't intended ever to use the Master Sword again after OoT.

Of course, was this the reason he was away from Hyrule at the time of the flood? If not for the recent almost-assured-confirmation of the split timelne, that would instead be my placement.

This is Just an Educated Guess but link is probably the twilight princess link because nintendo said it was also a test model of link for tp, and about the timeline i'd say after phantom hourglass.

It's OOT Link. None of his weapons can be accounted for to judge who it is because he has so many from different times, none of which are story related. He does however, use the OOT to travel to and from the SC world. Only OOT Link has the OOT.

I agree with SA. The most important item is the OoT because it's a plot item. It's used in the plot as a way for OoT Link to get to the SC deminsion/world, so I would place it after OoT.

So lets say Child Link goes on this journey after returning from Termina. There is no Link in the Adult Timeline between OoT and TWW, so it has to be in the Child Timeline.

it happens sometime after ALttP deffinately. Link starts it by getting the master sword from the lost woods, the cane of byrna and bug catching net are from ALttP, other weapons could be renamed to seem like they're from ALttP (megaton hammer to magic hammer, mirror shield/magic set to golden shield and they're armos in ALttP. also, it starts with link beating a wizard, and wizards are plentiful during the era of ALttP.

I agree with this. It makes perfect sence.

He has all the items of OoT Link and the OoT.

auctually, the ocarina wasn't named the ocarina of time. it could have been the instrument from ALttP

True, i looked it up, it doesnt say "ocarina of time" to my knollege (care to disprove me)
It does say Ocarina, but this could mean the Ocarina/ Flute in aLttP, or the Ocarina in LA, it COULD mean the Ocarina of time, Or the Ocarina of Wind in Minish cap.

I guess many assume it's the Ocarina of Time, because OoT Link is in the game. This is a valid point, though.

The Ocarina of Time is the only one of this type of instrument that would be powerful/magical enough to take Link to the SC world, so for the sake of answering, I would also agree with Daphnes.
