TP before Oot?

I'll come straight out with it; is there anyone who thinks that maybe TP comes before Oot? Or should I just go and sit in the corner and hang my head in shame? I'm just trying to gain knowlegde and forge my own theories here so. I understand Nintendo stated that Oot was the first but the way I see it, is that anything can change and if they wanted to change something they would...I dunno. Tell me if im way off.

Nup, if you've played TP you may have noticed that in the fishing hole there's a picture on the wall of the fishing master in OoT. This is one of the smaller, less obvious signs. Yet a strong one.

But, as you said, anything can change, so don't hang your head in shame yet. It just seems unlikely though.

No, because if you have played TP then you will now loads of the items that you get in the game were owned by the hero of time from Oot. so it can't be before it.

TP cannot come before OoT because TP makes numerous references to the Hero of Time and OoT. The Temple of Time, for example, would not have gone from being ruined in TP to a fully built and looked after building in OoT. The Gorons in TP would not have held the Hero's Bow as a sacred treasure if the hero that used it has not even been born yet. As already mentioned, the fishing hole in TP wouldn't have a picture of a guy that hasn't been born. There are loads of other things that prove TP is after OoT, but I can't be bothered to type them.

Also when Link goes to being human from being wolf for the first time, he's mysteriously wearing the Hero of Time's clothing because the Gods chose him as the next hero. In OoT, the only reason Link was wearing green is because those were his original clothes.

They also said that the Hero once wore them.

Everyone knows that OoT is first in the timeline than TP. TP makes refereces to OoT in the game.

There is no way TP can come before OoT.

* The vast numbers of references to the Hero of Time (OoT Link)
* The vast numbers of references about the origins and events of Ganon.
* and a vast amount of material that I cannot think of at this moment.

I'm not much of a thoerist(sp?) but i believe that nintendo confirmed that TP is after OOT.

At the end of OoT, Zelda closed the link from past to present, meaning that Link could not travel in time in the temple of time, therefore if TP came before OoT, when Link puts the Master sword into the pedestal of time in TP, he would have travelled in time

The sole reason OoT Link was capable of Time-travel was that he was too young to be the hero of time!

The temple of Time in TP is in RUINS! as in a fallen-apart Temple!

You can go ahead and hang your head in shame... Nintendo said that it took place about 100 years after Oot, and there are also several references and cameos to Oot scattered throughout TP.

You don't have to hang your head in shame. Anyone can post any idea, so long as it is backed up with evidence and proof. So, pay no attention to Ganonbob. Although, the idea that TP comes before OoT is kinda out there.

Definatly after. The big N even said so. Also, plenty of references to OoT throughout the game.
