The DARKNESS/TWILIGHT REALM Theory :(:)]]

Most of you must remember that a certain darkness falls on the land. Remember? Therefore, the god's flooded the land when no Hero appeared.

Now if you put this into a split-timeline it doesen't make sence. How could another darkness appear so suddenly, just after the world was saved from the Hero of Time. Thirty, fourty years later, not even?

Now if sticking to what the games say and what Nintendo have said (That TP takes place a few decades after OoT and centuries before WW). Then it will make sence to say that when Link went back in time everything was erased. But Ganon still exists in the real world. After Link and the Ocarina of Time leave Hyrule, there is no way Ganon can access the Triforce. But perhaps there is another way...

Remember when Ganon filled Hyrule with darkness in OoT? Well maybe this time, it takes him longer to fill it in darkness, it's much more deadly and that's Ganon's purpose in TP.

A) Link doesn't take the Ocarina from Hyrule, and nothing he does is erased. That's a bit of a miss understanding on the Double Timeline.
B) The Oracle Series is, most likely, mere decades after AlttP and yet Ganon manages to return.
C) AoL is 3 years maximum after LoZ. Still, Ganon's on a comeback.
D) Ganon doesn't want to "Access the Triforce", he has the ToP, the ToC is in eight pecies. He's just got the same world domination dream he's always had.

That being said, its a good thought. Ganon could be the cause of all the trouble in TP, and it could be enforced in the same way as in OOT. Of course, Nintendo has said the Ganon will be in this game in a different way then any game before. But that could mean anything...

Here's an idea... what if Ganon IS the Twilight?

Nope, Nintendo only said that they wouldn't be telling us the way he is in TP.

And Link does take the Ocarina of Time from Hyrule. Have you even played MM?
