Amount of Time Between Games

Now that we have the official timeline and we know what order the games go in, I was wondering if it'd be possible to compile information about how much time takes place between the stories of each of the games in order to create a more complete timeline! I know several of the backstories or games themselves give some kind of time value, I just don't have time to scour every game and thought some of you might like to help! Even vague descriptors like "hundreds of years" or whatever would be better than nothing. As you all know, here's the order of the games:

Unified Timeline: SS -> MC ->FS -> OoT
Downfall Timeline: OoT -> LttP -> OoX -> LA -> LoZ -> AoL
Child Timeline: OoT -> MM -> TP -> FSA
Adult Timeline: OoT -> WW -> PH -> ST

I can edit the original post as we come up with things, and can include other events like the Great Flood, Founding of Hyrule, etc. if that helps.

That's all I have. Any interest in helping with this, has it already been done, or is it a waste of time?

Easy ones:

LoZ -> AoL: AoL features the same Link as LoZ but he is now 16 years old. We don't know how old he was in LoZ, but it couldn't take place more than a few years after.
Lttp -> OoX -> LA: All feature the same Link. Probably not more than a few years between each of these games.
WW -> PH: Features the same Link, so PH is probably only a few years after WW
PH -> ST: 100 years later

Really? Where does it say that?

Re: Amount of Time Between Games

I don't know how much time is between SS and MC, MC and FS, and FS and OoT but between each seems to be quite a great deal of time. Especially between SS and MC

Hundreds, if not thousands, of years pass between the pre-split games and their backstories for sure. Between Skyward Sword and its backstory is thousands of years; between Skyward Sword and The Minish Cap is an unknown era, the Era of Chaos, the Era of Prosperity and finally the beginning of the Force Era and the War of the Bound Chest said to be "countless generations" ago, making the overall timespan thousands of years; between The Minish Cap and Four Swords is the escape and resealing of Vaati by an unseen Link who disappeared, and the Four Swords Sanctuary has become very ancient and overgrown, hinting at hundreds of years in the least; there is no way of determining how much time passes between Four Swords and Ocarina of Time.

Well, there was an interview long ago that confirmed it, but HH confirms it too:

•Link’s Trials (In the OoX section)

After defeating Ganon, Link went on a journey to further his training. After leaving Hyrule, he meets people such as a witch named Maple, a kangaroo called Ricky and some other friends.

•Link is Hit by a Great Storm (In the LA section)

Link, having completed his training, is about to return to Hyrule Kingdom by boat.

In the midst of his voyage, he is swallowed up by a storm and his ship is sunk. Upon regaining consciousness, he finds he has washed ashore on an island known as Koholint.

Re: Amount of Time Between Games

So far:

Unified Timeline: Creation -> (thousands of years) -> SS -> (thousands of years) -> MC -> (hundreds of years) ->FS -> OoT

Downfall Timeline: OoT (7 years later) -> LttP -> (a few months) -> OoX -> (a few months) -> LA -> LoZ -> (4 years) -> AoL

Child Timeline: OoT -> (next day) -> MM -> TP -> (hundreds of years) -> FSA

Adult Timeline: OoT (7 years later) -> WW -> (a few months) -> PH -> (100 years) -> ST

Correction from HH concerning WW to PH: "A few months after setting sail, Tetra’s pirates entered the waters of the Ocean King, where it was said that a Ghost Ship appeared."

Re: Amount of Time Between Games

I think the exact time would be near impossible to figure out.
