Majora and Fierce Deity

I didn't really mean it literally. The fact that his enemy is childish puts him in opposition to that quality.

i agree with The Wolfess' theory that Majora is the sun deity and FD is the moon deity. if anyone is interested in this theory, the Wolfess goes into great detail in her minor gods section of the Hyrulean Pantheon series of articles

It would make more sense if majora was the moon god and FD the sun god. Unless majora use the moon to enrage the deity and he enrage himself and it become fierce getting the name fierce deity name.
