Temple of Time+Master Sword=Time Gates?

I may be on to something here. In Skyward Sword, Impa states that the Master Sword is required to open a Time Gate--and as we all remember from Ocarina of Time, the same blade is needed to travel along the 'river of time.'

But the problem is... Link can only time travel in OOT at the Temple of Time, and Time Gates can't exactly be moved. So where in Skyward Sword is the Temple of Time eventually built?

This is where some of you may begin to question my theory. Many geography theorists have pondered that a section of Lanayru Desert regrows and becomes prosperous by the time Twilight Princess occurs-- to become the new site of Hyrule Castle Town.

I theorize that this section of the desert that gets rejuvinated is where the Temple of Time in Skyward Sword is! It is the location of a Time Gate, and is considered to be a sacred spot to most Hyruleans. So why not build the new Castle Town here? It's perfect.

But the problem is, that's not where Castle Town is located during OOT. It makes perfect sense for Twilight Princess, and many other theories can confirm that.

So where is the Temple of Time in OOT? The Sacred Grounds. It is the only other Time Gate location in Skyward Sword--and it is near where Lake Hylia is suspected to be in OOT. Derp.

The TOT is the temple of hylia. The MS as never been move since the defeat of Demise it as always been in the same temple.

Exactly. Perhaps Lanayru desert regrows to form Lanayru province, perhaps it's only an honorary name.Regardless, the ToT/MS are both in what used to be the sealed grounds, and become the temple of time in TP. The OOT Castle Town moves North for some unspecified reason.

Actually, Lake Hylia from OoT would be the Lanaryu Provenience of SS, wouldn't it? I think you are onto something here, but I think it's the other way around.

I think the Temple of Time in Skyward Sword gets rebuilt into the Temple of Time in OoT, modeled after the Sealed Grounds Temple. While that Temple itself eventually goes on to be the Temple of Time in TP. Well, maybe, maybe not. I think the fact that Skyward Sword made an effort to introduce two potential Temple of Times means something, at least, and helps bridge the gap between the disconnect between OoT's ToT and TP's. So, one of us is onto something, at least. XD

The town could have been move to protect the people if a evil ever attack. They left the older one to be loss in the forest so that only the true courageous hero could get and no evil to ever get the Triforce.

I doubt this--the Sages don't exactly have a reason to hide the Master Sword, do they?

But here's a new theory. They left the old Castle Town in what would eventually become the Twilight Princess Temple of Time, simply because the old one was too damaged after the battle with Ganondorf.

And hey, this isn't exactly a new theory. I'm just using it as an argument to find which ToT is the one in Ocarina of Time. I suppose we can conclude that the one we're searching for is, indeed, the Sealed Temple.
