Ghirahim/Vaati/Zant connections?

In my opinion, and feel free to counter argue, Vaati and Zant are the reincarnations of Ghirahim, the reasons i think this are:

1. All have similar appearances (Vaati and Ghirahim in particular)

2. They are all trying to revive Ganon/Ganondorf/Demise (who are all incarnations of the same person)

3.And perhaps the "origin" of sorts for Ghirihim (or more correctly, Demise's Master swordcould be the twilight realm, which could point towards a Zant/Ghirahim connection, but could debunk a Vaati conection because Vaati was originally a Minish.

What do you guys think?

That's a totally valid theory--I mean, the visual evidence and their motives are certainly cohesive.

However, I personally don't view them this way. I think they're each just individuals who are the minions of the big baddie of their respective eras. After all, despite their having the shared motive of wanting to revive their master, they each have individual motives (for example, Zant wants personal power over his home world).

As for appearances--just standard secondary villian dark look, methinks.

I guess it could work but then again there are blank points in timelines that need to be filled in with new games. This is possible....but not likely. Only time will tell

This is where theories such as the twilight mirrior being forged from the dark master sword's blade can arise. How well that'd be viewed is open debate.. but I don't think Vaati and Zant are connected to Zant, just of similiar roles.

I don't think so, as Zant kills Ganondorf, I don't see ghirahim doing that.

Wouldn't you thik that there is more of a connection with Agahnim?

Like the above posts, I would rule Zant out since he pretty much stabbed Ganondorf in the back at the end of TP.

As for Agahnim, both he and Ghirahim wish to revive their masters or to help them somehow, so I see more of a connection there, but this is just a theory.

Vaati was pretty much working on his own. But I've only played MC, so I don't know the full story behind his character presented in the other Zelda games.

i completely agree and cant believe i forgot about him, he was the first after all (release wise, not chronological)

I have a few problems with your theory.

1. Zant looks nothing like Vaati OR Ghirahim.

2. Only Ghirahim tried to revive someone. That was the demon king, Demise. Zant was influenced by Ganondorf to create a way out of the twilight realm. Zant viewed Ganondorf as a god, not his master. And as for Vaati, I don't know much backstory.

3. Demise's Sword (Ghirahim) dissolved after Demise was banquished. Why would Ghirahim move into the twilight realm?

I find this thread a little bit too old to be continued on for further discussions now.
