Ganondorf's Steed

This may already have a thread, or it may not even be noticed because it's just a horse, but what do you think of Ganondorf's Steed. Is it just a normal Horse? In the game, they say that it is a "Gerudo Stallion", but in the German version of the game, it says that the horse came from Hell. What do you think?

It's a Gerudo Stallion from hell.

Seriously though, did you notice how the horse just magically appears during 3rd portion of the battle with Ganondorf in Twilight Princess?

He seems to come from the gap between dimensions, just like phantom ganon and his horse in OOT.



Just like phantom ganons and their horses in TP.



They come From beyond.

It seems as if Phantom Ganon and the horse are the same. Like said, they seem to just come from the ground.

Ganondorf has the power of teleportation, I'm sure he could make his horse appear.

Also, Link can leave Epona in Lake Hylia, go to Ordon, blow into a piece of grass, and the Horse is there in 2 seconds, so I'm pretty sure horses don't follow common logic.
Ganondorf's horse is no more special than Epona is.

Yeah, except it also happens in TP.

At the end of the horse battle in TP ganondorf's black horse dissapear and epona don't.
I think he comes from beyond just like the black stallion of phantom ganon.

Maybe the horse in TP is a differnt one than in OOT because originally Ganondorf was going to get Epona till Link got her.

No... it's a bit more than that... the horse appears completely out of nowhere, and then disappears after the fight... keep in mind that Ganondorf had been separated from his horse for hundreds of years while he was sealed away in the twilight realm... the horse would be dead by now... unless it had some kind of magical abilities...

Besides, there were no Gerudos around to breed these "Gerudo Stallions" by the time of TP, so the horse came from some kind of underworld/gap between dimensions, or whatever you choose to call it...

or... maybe he just created another horse in the likeness of his old one...

Question: What does it say in the Japanese version. Once that is answered, we'll have a much more clear idea of the horse.

I beleive Ganondorf conjured it with his magic.

That just makes explanations simpler for me, as that is also how I explain a lot of the baddies that follow him. Whatever it is, it has to be adaptable to Ganondorf's magic. But even so, we aren't sure if the horse in the Forest Temple is the same as the horse Ganondorf rode when you encounter him as Child Link.

It could be like Fury, the horse of the Red Rider War, in the game Darksiders, he can call upon it when ever there is room, and it will disappear when War gets knocked off of it. So it could go along the lines of that, Maybe.

Really, it is just a demon horse. It was most likely put in because the game makers thought it would be cool for him to ride a horse. It has magical powers because it IS the ghost from hell. Now what kind of game would it be, if you had to wait 20 minutes for his horse to be summoned in battle?

If the horse comes from beyond then doesn't that make it a horse from Heaven instead of a horse from Hell?

We don't know what the gap between dimensions is. And beyond can refer to 'beyond life'...

It's a damn horse. It came from a mommy horse and a daddy horse. The question is, what is it? It's not just a horse with armor. It's a black horse with armor and red eyes. It seems demonic.

I'm definitely casting my vote into the "steed was morphed by evil" bit. Possibly due to it's owner, it was corrupted, and lives as a soulless being, thus being able to still be tangible, but it has the ability to travel in between realms.

He's got the Triforce of Power by that point, doesn't he? I'm sure he could conjure up any creature, or almost anything he wanted. That time he just conjured up a demonic, pimped out evil horse, cause, hey, if you're going to have a climactic duel to the death with a hero, why not look cool as fight?

It's a badass looking horse put into the game so the badass villain could look more badass.
