Do We Really Hate Ocarina Hero?

I found Ocarina Hero a very idealistic person when it comes to the legend of Zelda series. He can be rude, but I find that his ideas make some sense. I also believe that he is no different than most people on ZU. Am I the only one who is open-minded enough to accept him?

(It'd be funny if Ocarina Hero had a secret account on here.)

I don't think anyone hates Ocarinahero, people hate what his timeline has lead to - stupid noobs making threads about it claiming it to be awesome and correct and being completely ignorant of... well, everything. It's nobody's fault, really... one thing lead to another which is very unfortunate.

Can you guys explain to me who Ocarinahero really is?

People dislike OcarinaHero10 because he so arrogantly stated that he knew the definite timeline, yet his timeline and theories were full of errors. For example, he said that ALttP/OoX came between OoT and TWW. He also said that Ganon the beast and Ganondorf the man were separate beings, that LA came after PH, and that the Master Sword was the Piccori Sword. He claimed to have "done the research," his timeline clearly shows otherwise. Furthermore, in the comments section of his timeline video, he pretty much refused to be contradicted even by people that pointed out those errors.

And of course, his reaction to the "official response from Nintendo" only made matters worse by making half the internet believe in the literal legend theory, that every game is just a different retelling of the same story and that there is no actual timeline.

People hate him because he probably has every piece of the timeline down.

Let's all consider his timeline is actually correct, which I can see it being correct because Nintendo likes to screw us all over. Think SS AFTER OoT. I have not seen his timeline before, but I know it might have a lot of faults in it...but C'mon. This is Nintendo we're talking about.

Ocarinahero is well known (relatively) for a theorist because he actually puts out videos of his timelines on you tube instead of just posting on forums like ZU. This means his theories get ALOT more attention in the general population while those same theories begone infamous here. Same thing happened before TP when Gametrailers put out their timeline, creating a flood of noobies stating that theory as correct.

We absolutely do hate him.

I tried debating the most basic of his points, but he just wouldn't believe me.

1. He's a timeline theorist who sent his timeline to Nintendo and thinks he has the timeline down and in the beginning of his video, he states his video has no flaws. Sorry dude, but unless we hear it from Nintendo, everything 's a flaw.

2. The Master Sword is the Picori Blade? So what you're saying is the Minish created the Picori Blade? Wrongo.

3. OoX cannot go before WW, more specific, cannot go in the Adult Timeline due to Link killing Twinrova in the Adult Timeline, not the child.

4. I've never seen ALTTP go before WW.

5. Sorry, but your PH-LA connection was broken with the release of Spirit Tracks. He said the Link from PH washes up on Kohonolit Island. So the Link from LA is the same one from WW? Again, wrongo.

Overall, no one likes him because he's self centered, a timeline freak, and someone who says they know the timeline like they're Aounuma or Miyamoto.

I personally don't hate him. His video stirred the creative juices in my brain that made me want to make my own timeline. If anyone's the closest to the actual timeline, though, it's probably Lancun with his 5-6 part series as far as YouTube theorists go.

BS. What timeline do you think OoX went on when it was released in 2001?

um, the child timeline existed in 2001, even if the devs didn't acknowledge it outright in an interview until TWW redefined what the AT was. OoX could have easily appeared hundreds or even thousands of years after MM at time of release despite OoX featuring a dead Ganon who had not died yet on the CT because Nintendo did had a very similar situation with ALttP--LoZ a decade before (Ganon being revived off screen between games in that case).

It's not hard to imagine the HoT killing Ganon on the CT and then reuniting the TRIFORCE in Hyrule castle either before or (more likely) after MM for OoX to work later. That is, before TP came out.

First off. He did nto state the Piccori sword was the master sword. He said it was a theory. Secondly he does respond to people. Not through comments but private message. The nintendo response made him annoyed he said nothing their not being a timeline. Even after that letter. Everyone still tries to make a timeline. Including him. Personally I don't this he a jerk. Just his youtube "character" his videos are actually pretty funny.


Also in his timeline edit he did apologize for being so arrogant. And spirit tracks was not out when he made his first timeline. So of course that is wrong.

Even though OoX was made with a focus on the stories of LoZ, AoL, ALttP, and LA? Seriously? I think it is far more likely that OoX continued off of a story that already existed, not a story that had/has yet to exist. It is also really weak to base the placement of a game off of only one/two character(s). Keep in mind that Twinrova was just one of many cameos in OoX.

At 6:27, he says, "the Master Sword, also called the Piccori Blade." No theory disclaimer was present.

What I meant was, he did respond to people in the comments, he just refused to listen to some of the people who pointed out the obvious problems. He added some clarifications in the comments, but really those things should have been in the video to begin with.

Of course OcarinaHero10 didn't believe the response, but because of his video about it, a ton of other people on the internet believed it. Just take a look at this thread and the article it refers to. After that, we had all sorts of noobs saying "there is no timeline so stop trying." It was a mess.

Yes, he actually said at the beginning that there were no flaws, and it was the definite timeline. He waited until to the comments section to clarify that most of it was just theories.

Wow, OcarinaHero10 seems to have gotten better in his reasoning and I trust that his next timeline will at least be a bit better. The timeline teleconference he mentioned interests me and I'll definitely be there on YouTube to see it.
