Re: Fireball on Death Mountain (TP) is MM's moon?

Hmm... I think you're looking into it too much. It probably isn't MM's moon.

However, I think Nintendo's making it obvious that something must've happened to Death Mountin during the pre-TP era. Judging by the shape of the rocky mass, it looks like there was once an eruption of magma that was magically "cooled" or "frozen" just in time in order to prevent any further catastrophic events from happening. Or perhaps it's an asteroid that happened to crash into Death mountain. Either way, maybe this thing was the catalyst for Hyrule's crevices and segmented geographical locations in TP?

Exactly my thinking.

Although, it is kinda spooky the way the Moon in MM disappears with the black squares. I'm not completely doubtful about it being transported to Hyrule.

lol, it would probably be funny if the moon was sent to Hyrule instead of termina when you finish off the game instead of letting it smash Termina.

So the moon is a Twili? What exactly are we implying here? And if it smash into hyrule, why wasnt something flattened/destroyed? And if it was teleported away, where to? It cant be Hyrule because there's never been anyone that says "Do you guys remember that we had 2 moons for a while until one smashed into Death mountain?" "oh yeah.. *sips coffee*"

Why would the moon be a Twili? When Midna teleported the bridge of Eldin, did that make it a Twili? No.

And if it was transported to Hyrule, it probably would have been much closer to the ground, so it wouldn't have caused as much damage. It would still be enough to make the huge cracks in the ground, though.

Well Cody says that a true theorist will lots of times over-complicate theories...

It's not that complicated.

Majora sends the moon to Hyrule (via the Twilight-particle warp thing) as a way of saying "screw you" to Link just before being defeated.

The moon lands in Hyrule and causes major earthquakes that possibly change the landscape into what it is in TP. The remains of the moon can be seen on Death Mountain.

...at least that's what I gather as the general idea being thrown around. While I'm not sure wether I believe in it or not, it is kind of a cool theory.

Majora's Mask is probley a Good Thousand years back (or foward) In the Zelda timeline
In TP Hyrule vastly expanded its empire and may have taken over part of Timbera. That would explain the cultural diffusion. (The Howl stone that plays the song of healing) And possible the so called Moon in the mountain, but in all terms it probley just a meteorite

That WOULD be awesome if true, since kakariko in TP is so freakin deserted..

I don't understand that in the least. Timbera? Couldn't the song of healing just be an Easter Egg? Kind of like how that just because Malon wore a Bowser pendant they aren't best friends or even in the same universe.
