Further Proof that Dark Mirror =/= Mirror of Twilight

I beat Ganondorf again on TP yesterday for the millionth time and was sitting through the end credits. Then the Mirror chamber scene happened, and I started thinking.

We know that the Mirror of Twilight predates OoT because the Interloper event ALSO predates OoT. The Mirror of Twilight MUST have been created either before or during the Interloper conflict.

So, this would mean that the Mirror of Twilight is an ancient Hylian artifact, a product of old Hyrule.

Now, let's assume for a second that the following is true.

1.) The Dark Mirror = Mirror of Twilight

2.) FSA takes place on the adult timeline, post-flood.

If #1 is true, that means the Dark Mirror is an ancient Hylian artifact, being from old Hyrule. The problem with this is that, at the end of WW, all traces of old Hyrule are wiped out by Daphnes' wish.

Because we know Link and Tetra didn't have the Dark Mirror with them when they went to find a new Hyrule, we only have ONE option if FSA is on the adult timeline:

The Dark Mirror is a product of NEW Hyrule, and therefore does NOT predate OoT, while the Mirror of Twilight obviously DOES predate OoT.

So if you have FSA on the adult timeline, you have no other option but for the Dark Mirror to be a different mirror, because if it was the Mirror of Twilight, it would have been destroyed with all of the other traces of old Hyrule at the end of WW.

If you have FSA on the child timeline, they can easily be two different mirrors, so this problem doesn't exist there.

And on a somewhat related note, you can't have FS/FSA on the adult timeline if you place MC first because the Four Sword also would have been destroyed by the flood at the end of WW.

So MC can only come first in the timeline if you place FS/FSA on the child timeline, and FSA can only take place on the adult timeline if the Dark Mirror is from NEW Hyrule and is NOT the same as the Mirror of Twilight.

Well, anything that's below sea level - the temple in FSA obviously isn't below sea level.

The temple isn't the only thing thats above sea level. Your argument doesn't quite work as we don't know if FSA is post-flood or not. The problem here is that Old Hyrule ≠ New Hyrule. If the mirror is an artifact of old Hyrule then its only logical that it too is located in old Hyrule. This sort of destorys the posibility of ST being set in FSA Hyrule, and thus having FSA after ST.

So you could either abandon the DM = TM theory, or maybe you could start arguing that yet another new Hyrule emerges where the old Hyrule existed.

As for my own timeline, it could still as be DM = TM, as easily as its DM ≠ TM. I don't care which it is, since we'll never be able to prove or disprove either one.

I agree with everything that isn't bolded.

You can't prove all traces of old Hyrule were destroyed. That's un-evidanced and proof of nothing.

The King wished for Hyrule to be washed away. This implies that everything is gone, and we have no evidence that the Dark Mirror was recovered or preserved because we never see it in WW or PH.
