When The demon king is Ganontrai...dorf...then he is
A-a new Ganon
B- The same like in WW although Aonuma said that he is dead.

So the demon king probably needs the ToW from Zelda to get back to life. So the same could have happen after TWW: Ganon re-received the ToP after he was turned into a rock, he was able to get back to the overworld, and now he is trying to kill Link and Zelda. He finds them- in the new Hyrule. But the spirits of Hyrule subdued him.

Ganondorf had better keep his ass under the great sea this time. This sounds like a very interesting story and we don't need ganondorf coming along and stealing what could be a really cool villain's thunder again.

I really like how we get a tunic this time so we can blend in with the knights lol.

I'm, kinda pumped. It's sad this will be the most story we ever get out of a Zelda though. Bring some story on!

Life for the AT afterall? And yay, with Ganondorf this may be a defining part of the Zelda Timeline. Just maybe.

Very true, but the main story of the main games revolve around them. Even the FS series needs Ganon.

All 14 (soon to be 15) games are main games. Not having Zelda or Ganon does not make them a spin-off nor do they need to be connected to a game with Zelda or Ganon to be a non-spin-off.

I didn't feel that Ganon didn't belong in TP, just that he wasn't given nearly enough screen time. If you're going to include Ganon at all, he needs decent screen time. Of course, ALTTP did the same thing, but still.

i actually hope... Ganondorf isn't the main villain because even he wouldn't kill zelda he would just place her in a crystallized prism or something he would't kill for some reason so i'm hoping this time it ain't ganon and if it is... he just got a lot more evil in his heart

Ha. I think "Hey guys we sealed this evil spirit in the earth and made train tracks outta the seal!" is the stupidest idea ever. Train Ganon is just crazy unrealistic and this Zelda game is starting to make me cry.

oh he was ultimately fine in TP, it's just that he kind of stole Zant's thunder as a villain.

but i am afraid that ganon needs zelda's body because his body died when he turned to stone,
speaking of which, the Four Sword can un-stone people, so maybe ST Link gets tricked into
un-stoning Ganondorf in ST...yikes!

The story so far is that Zelda was removed from her body. This means she could return to it.

And isn't it said somewhere in canon that Ganon could be resurrected using his ashes and the blood of his killer? This could be a similar resurrection process using Zelda's body as a crucible.

Most story we ever get out of a Zelda game? How could you possibly know how story-oriented the game is without having played it? All we know is Zelda "dies", there's a new Hyrule, and there's some sort of Ganontrain released from a seal made out of train tracks.

Moreover, have you never played OOT, MM or TWW? Because so far they appear to be far more story-based than this.

It doesn't matter if he is in only half the games. He still stands as one of the most defing factors of the series.

The Triforce, Ganonforf, and Zelda have been the plot elements that have reappeared in the series the most. The Ganondorf/Triforce plot have been the most consistent throughout the series.

All other games that don't follow this plot are all unique and different from eachother, most of which are either spin-offs, or sequels of a previous Ganondorf/Triforce game.
