The only thing New Hyrule means to me is that LoZ/AoL may be on the AT.
I still put all the other games on the CT (except WW/PH of course)

Indeed. Twilight Princess seems to lead into A Link to the Past a lot better, if we assume that a future game will detail the events of the Imprisoning War.

On the adult timeline, the Master Sword is lost under the sea and everyone's memories of old Hyrule are seemingly erased, so it can't run into the A Link to the Past saga very smoothly. The only thing that it has going for it is that some kind of Imprisoning War took place there during Ocarina of Time, but even that didn't really resemble the one talked about in A Link to the Past...

Why do we need to assume that a game will come in an detail the events of the SW? It's just a backstory, it doesn't need a game.

My timeline will be more or less the same.

Depending on Spirit Tracks all my games are moving to the AT.... except for MM and TP of course.
Saves Triforce confusion at the end of TP as a bonus.

The entire geography revelations in the ST geography thread means I'll probably be changing my timeline as well, but I'm still going to keep ALTTP on the child timeline for the reasons Meeps just listed. He basically just summed up perfectly why ALTTP has to take place on the child timeline.

Well, Then FSA cannot take place on the AT either... and that would move FS back over as well. The Four Sword did exist in ALttP GBA. Har... This would create massive breakage if ST references the Four Swords Saga....

If ALttP comes on the CT and FSA comes on the AT, it's highly debateable, but if ALttP comes on the AT with FSA then it's definately not first.

Regarding "MC/ST": I'm just assuming that the two games bare the same Link and Zelda. It Might be the Case that the FS Link and Zelda are the Same as the ST ones. I don't really assert the placement of ST yet, i was just putting it on the board for practical reasons.

If you don't want spoilers, I'll just say that ST has a completely different Link than that in TMC.

Because none of the current games leave the Triforce in the Sacred Realm, every 2D game that involves Ganon besides LttP already features the Dark World, FSA (an ALttP prequel) has Maiden figures instead of Sages, and the developers already said a game "came in" to do just that.

My question is why we need to assume that the SW immediately precedes LttP when that game's backstory has already been screwed to high heavens by recent games.
