That an hilarious picture, but, I wouldn't compare the revelation of new Hyrule on the same scale as this so called 'Blue Swamp'. Firstly, the when the split was confirmed it came out of no where. With ST, I think most of us was mentally prepared that it would eventually be called Hyrule. It didn't come out of no where. It was expected, and we don't know what remains to be revealed yet from ST.

Hopefully, this will finally connect the 3D games to the 2D games without any odd gaps.

It's a shame that Nintendo had to go and devalue Wind Waker's powerful ening though, but I suppose that this kind of thing happens a lot in fiction. Like when a character makes an emotional exit from a TV series only to return a few seasons later. Rose Tyler.

Oh, and I saw some people earlier in the topic wondering about whether this game would lead into FSA (and then ALTTP by default). That's kind of impossible, isn't it? I mean, the Master Sword is lost somewhere under the sea, and everyone's memories of old Hyrule are gone so they wouldn't remember the Seal War.

hahaha, yeah, I hoped there wouldn't be a new Hyrule... I think it ruins a lot that was set up in the ending of Wind Waker... Zelda is so messed up! Hahaha. I don't really like the idea of TWO crazy awesome magical lands where the power of the gods dwells... its a little much. The same way 2 powerful evil-destroying swords is too much. Tell me they don't come up with a triforce equivalent... I'll live with it though! I love ALL Zelda games! And I'm extremely excited about Spirit Tracks!!!! Especially the story behind it all!!

It's the code name for the day that the Split Timeline was "confirmed" by Eiji Aonuma.

Even though it was actually the third time the directors said the timeline was split. It was just the most detailed/concrete one, in which they even stated that WW and TP were parallel to each other.
