Re: Theorists Unite! Learn about Spirit Tracks.

I think I'm the only one not getting why many of you think the 2D games are definitely placed in the CT.

Easily...

@Impossible and Raian (well mostly Raian): Let's not get to hasty here. Just because we don't know where the Triforce went at the end of TWW doesn't mean we'll never see it on the AT again. What happened to the Triforce at the end of TWW is up to speculation so you can't state for a fact that it went away forever.

That being said it is one way to look at it, so I'm not saying you're wrong, I'm just saying you're not nessasarily right either.

It really doesn't, and in fact I still oppose "it has to be first is FSA is CT". But for the purpose of arguing about ST and leaving MC until after it isn't after the flood, I'm just gonna shut up about any other possibilities.

Origin stories. Link's FIRST adventure, the way things are set up...it's common sense really. Of coarse LoZ/AoL and OoX could still possibly come before it but that's really unlikely and I'd rather not pull an Ollathir.

Re: Theorists Unite! Learn about Spirit Tracks.

Remember ladies and gentlemen, aLttP takes place shortly after Ganondorf "rediscovered" the Triforce during a period when no one knew of its whereabouts, or the whereabouts of the Sacred Realm.

Just because the Triforce is forgotten (apparently) in ST by no means implise that no Triforce-games can be post-flood.

^No but it kinda hurts that idea.

You can make up any explanation to fit any gap, by the way.

And where's the quote that says that he rediscovers the SR at a time when there was no knowledge of the Triforce?

That, surely, is why it was placed in the sacred land, and its location passed down only among those chosen.

However, it looks as though that was interrupted somewhere...
Then, the one who again discovered the sacred land was the thief called Ganondrof.

I'll just drop this here.

The triforce itself might not appear again on the AT, but it certainly is not forgotten by the inhabitants of the new Hyrule otherwise it wouldn't appear on the garb of their ruler.

Tyras, It's Princess Zelda she had that Dress in tWW. The Guards still wear the same clothing as tWW Link, I think it is safe to say that clothing as a tradition is important to them.

As is the triforce symbol, so i see no reason why it should disappear from their culture.

Re: Theorists Unite! Learn about Spirit Tracks.

I just think it is there as a smybol on Zelda's clothing. It is not in the Castle or on anywhere else. I think the people just consider that as "the symbol on Zelda's dress".

Pure, speculation of course. I have no real idea. I just think that the Triforce may not be remembered except maybe by a few wise old people in the game.

Re: Theorists Unite! Learn about Spirit Tracks.

It could be that only the (new) Royal Family knows of the Triforce, thus why it's (seemingly) only on Zelda's dress. But I suppose we'll just see.

Hmmm...where does this sound familiar?

Re: Theorists Unite! Learn about Spirit Tracks.

For TP leading into ALTTP, the Sacred Realm is pretty much completely unknown by the time of TP, except for being known by the Sages, Light Spirits, Zelda, etc.

And if you place MC first, FS/FSA cannot go on the adult timeline because the Four Sword would have been destroyed by Daphnes' wish to erase Hyrule. This is also why ALTTP cannot go on the adult timeline.

Thought I'd point out:

MC Zelda

WW Zelda

And ST Zelda all look to be about the same.
