Linear Timeline, what?
Up to this point I have a pretty nice split timeline (I think so), i.e.
..........WW--PH--OoX--MC--FS/FSA--ALttP--LA OoT: ..........MM--TP--LoZ--AoL Or my alternative timeline to turn to: ....................WW--PH--OoX--FS/FSA--AlttP--LA MC--OoT: ....................MM--TP--LoZ--AoL But I never really put some thought into the linear timeline. And there's a reason for that, It's nearly impossible to fit them altogether. If we get one branch of my timeline, OoT-MM--TP--LoZ--AoL, it would work fine. Then we might add ALttP after AoL, ergo OoT--MM--TP--LoZ--AoL--ALttP, followed by either Link's Awakening or the oracle games. I find it hard to place a game after Link's Awakening, so I'll just go with this: OoT--MM--TP--LoZ--AoL--ALttP--OoX-- Followed obviously, by, OoT--MM--TP--LoZ--AoL--ALttP--OoX--MC--FS/FSA Now it's a tad tricky here, I'd have to add Wind Waker right after that. OoT--MM--TP--LoZ--AoL--ALttP--OoX--MC--FS/FSA--WW--PH-- And whats left? Link's Awakening. OoT--MM--TP--LoZ--AoL--ALttP--OoX--MC--FS/FSA--WW--PH--LA This actually isn't that bad. Up to the point of ALttP it's nice and squeaky clean. There are three huge problems with this, though. I, Wind Waker can't come after -FS/FSA due to Ganondorf already being dead. II, Link's Awakening doesn't come after PH III, No game including Hyrule (Besides Wind Waker) can come after ALttP. Due to the fact MC does take place in Hyrule, it does not come after ALttP. This seems like one of the only plausible linear timelines, and it has huge flaws. That's why there aren't linear timelines, does anybody want to refute? For that matter, does anybody believe in it? EDIT: I suppose if the multiple Ganon theory were true, then maybe Wind Waker could come after Four Swords. Other than that, it's still very tricky to make.

Re: Linear Timeline, what?
if i made a linear timeline, i go OoT-MM-WW-PH-ST?-TP-Alttp-LA-OoX-AolBS-FS/FSA-Loz-Aol
TP ganondorf is the one from the bottom of the Ocean Ganon in this game is ONLY ganondorf's twilight from so its different than other Ganon form Alttp Ganon stems from ganon splitting from Ganondorf in WW- The Trident was found in the SR Trident leads to FSA the FS breaks ganon escaping leading into LoZ It requires quite a bit of fuzzy logic, but not much more than any normal time line |

Re: Linear Timeline, what?
Sparty's Linear Timeline:
-Big Bang Theory (Chuck Norris reference again) -The Hero of Men gets a sword from the Minish (stupid humans calling them Piccori...sheesh) -The Ocarina of Time gets mistaken for a flute (and not for the last time) -Majora's Mask (ambiguously gay, as always) -Twilight Emo Princess (she cuts herself) -The King of Red Lions drowns Link from frustration (couldn't keep the kid from running them into sea mines) -Ciela confesses that she was Navi in disguise (and that she was Tatl all along as well) -Twinrova resurrect their old lover (...yes, I mean Ganon) -Ganondorf holds a press conference explaining why a Trident is NOT a pitchfork (keeping him from demonic/devilish allusions made by the common folk) -The Invincible Old Man (the same one that shoots fireballs at you if you try to stab him) -Midget Magic and Dancing Shadows (leads to triangular retrieval...no, I'm not smoking anything) -The Talking Tree (no, not the Deku Tree, but the one in the Dark World) -It was a All a Dream!!! (haha, what a mind**** moment) Maybe it was a bit cryptic, but I feel obliged to make fun of single timelines so I needed to make it a fun read.

Re: Linear Timeline, what?
^ If you're gonna disregard the other half of that (being OoT---WW and split timeline) you might as well disregard the whole thing.

Re: Linear Timeline, what?
Yep the problem with the linear timeline is that it doesn't exist. It's split. And Chuck Norris wills it. And why delete spam when it is SO called for? Hell, this entire thread is just a glorified piece of spam, an excuse to write nonsensical bull**** just for the sake of racking up post count. (Note: Nonsensical Bull**** = Only One Timeline...why? Because Nintendo wills it so. That's why.)

Explain how he does in a linear timeline, with Wind Waker quite explicitly stating that the Triforce of Courage was left behind when he disappeared after defeating Ganon. Furthermore, explain how Link can make friends with Zelda for several months, obtain the Ocarina of Time and Epona, and take them all to Termina without completely eliminating Ocarina of Time on a linear timeline. |
