Do you think ST will have any good timeline information in it?

Well the poll is simple enough, but be free to explain why you think so etc.

Re: Do you think ST will have any good timeline information in it?

Well, depending on ST I think we will be able to prove if games that are placed on the AT belong there or not. I do not think games that are on the CT will be moved to the AT based on information in ST. I don't think the DS titles are going to have as much back story for us as the Console and Gameboy ones.

Re: Do you think ST will have any good timeline information in it?

Im pretty sure that ST, judging from what we know about it so far, will finally intrduce this "New Hyrule" that was foreshadowed at the end of WW, which will then probably lead into many other connections that will help game placements.

Re: Do you think ST will have any good timeline information in it?

I hope it will. I'm finally starting to get into the storyline a bit and I really don't feel like waiting on Zelda Wii for the new info. Judging from the looks of it though it's hard to tell.

Yes, I agree with this. It happens with every game. With more answers, comes even more questions.

Ganny better keep his Gerudo ass in flooded Hyrule in this game or there might as well be no theory. I wonder who the antagonist will be in this game.

Maybe Vaati!
Ok, I'm getting a little more excited for this game now

It's worth noting that I voted "same as PH," and that also means none at all.

I was thinking the same thing!

I'm guessing that it might connect TMC to the FS backstory because at the end of TMC, Vaati explodes, but in the FS backstory, Vaati just randomly appears.

Re: Do you think ST will have any good timeline information in it?

Spirit Tracks will either prove or disprove the idea of a "New Hyrule". That's very important.

Personally, I hope that it utterly destroys the notion of a "New Hyrule", which I've always found to be an insult to Wind Waker's ending.

^ A "New Hyrule" is not an insult to the ending of WW. Unflooding "Old Hyrule" is.

My thoughts exactly.
The backstory also talks about Vaati kidnapping beautiful maidens, which never happened in TMC.

Both are equally insulting, in my eyes.

Re: Do you think ST will have any good timeline information in it?

Whatever "New Hyrule" we get, it would have to be much different from the Hyrule of WW. What I think would be the major difference between the two kingdoms, is their differences in Technology. I don't think that the technological development will stop after the train. I think the "New Hyrule" will advance futher and further into a more "futuristic" era and culture.

Replacing "Hyrule" with "York", the conversation between Zelda and Daphnes is as follows:

Person 1: "You can come with us. We can find the next York."
Person 2: "But that land will not be York. That will be YOUR land."

Thus person 1 set out to find a new land and named it "New York".

By this analogy, "New Hyrule" can happen.

It will either have no useful information, or it will confirm MC is after WW.
