Could Tingle Rupee Land be placed on a time-line?

Even though this game probably has no time-line, could he be placed on one?

If I had to place it on a time-line, I'd place it after the destruction of termina(when Link fails). Since termina is an alternate world of Hyrule then it's possible to have some similarities to Hyrule, but not completely.

1) Link never fails, he rewinds time.

2) Go ahead and place it on the time line, it does not affect it in any way.

I don't think it goes on the timeline ... I do'nt think it's canon, but like Watties said, go ahead it doesn't affect it in anyway.
It's debateble if it goes on the timeline btw

Some theorists place it between WW and the new world as a geographical in-between.

I don't place it anywhere on the timeline.

Re: Could Tingle Rupee Land be placed on a time-line?

If it's meant to be canon (which I doubt based on developer quotes) it would be an adult timeline game, based on the fact that it takes place on islands/continents with familiar names to ancient Hyrulean places.

I'm not completely sure on it, but I have heard that the main guy in charge of it hadn't even completed a Zelda game before.

Girl, actually.
She was quoted as saying that she hadn't played very much Zelda, and as such, when the other developers would talk about the old games, she felt left out.

She said that, because they wanted this game to appeal to both the casual gamers like herself, as well as the hardcore Zelda fans, they put in references to Zelda games to "make the fans smile".

Read it how you will, but I believe it shows they are just cameos. The game is supposed to be for the general crowd, with a little nostalgia thrown in for the hardcore gamers, not for plot purposes.

Re: Could Tingle Rupee Land be placed on a time-line?

This game is a spin-off so no it can be placed in any timeline period.
