Termina -- On the AT

Now, in my opinion, Termina was a side quest kind of, no relevance to the time line, but it's really fun to theorize about. So let's get started.

This is about Termina on the AT. We've only seen it on the CT.

Let us get some background information on this alternate world first. The developers (which no one seems to follow any more unless it supports their own theory) said that Termina is an alternate and parallel world to Hyrule. When the gods created Hyrule, something "slipped through the cracks" and created Termina.

In Majora's Mask, the game of Termina, we see new and old characters (with new names). In the Wind Waker, we see these new characters, with their old Termina names (probably, of course a reincarnation or descendant of...).

The theory: When the gods flooded Hyrule, something slipped through the cracks again, and flooded Termina, and merged the lands... now waters.

Thoughts?

By the way, explain yourself, none of this "can't happen because I don't like it".

A theory:

The Mask trading sequence was carried out on the AT.
When Link was sent to the CT he did not re-enact this,
if he had, then Skull Kid would be content with the Skull
Mask, instead of jumping the HMS and stealing Majora's Mask.

So, no reason to visit Termina on the AT?

Personally, I don't consider the world of Termina to be either on the AT or the CT. I see it as a parallel dimension separate from either of Hyrule's AT and CT dimensions. So if there's a portal to Termina on the CT, it'd be there on the AT as well.

I find it hard to imagine something like water bursting out of the doors of the clock tower in Termina.

So this isn't spam: I don't think the flood water would have managed to get through the portal- it seemed to be needed to be specifically opened and otherwise would be sealed- I doubt it was opened at the time of the flood. Either way the cistern effect would have probably found a good diffusion gradient to prevent the water flooding into nearby universes.

Anyway, I used to believe that the flood did affect Termina and somehow merged the two. This was a few years ago and I used this theory to explain all the islands in the southeast section of the Great Sea. It seemed like a pretty good theory at the time and did make sense in how it formed those islands, but currently, I believe in what Jarsh already said.

I'm still a believer in my way. It would be interesting if south was Termina, and the gods merged them because Hyrule had no hero, as Termina did in the past. Sadly, it's fan fic atm.

I think in my theory, Ice Ring Isle was the tip of Snowhead from Termina. I can't really remember though.

On topic: I don't believe the merge thing, but I'd like to see what happened to Termina on the adult timeline.

There is more than one single skull kid lol. What makes you so positive its the one from oot where you give him the skull mask?

Skull Kid in MM says that Link smells like the boy that taught him that song in the forest. In OoT, Link teaches Skull Kid Saria's Song in the Lost Woods.
