Possible connection between MM and TP?

Not really a theory exactly but something i noticed. I finished MM last night again and i noticed a similarity between the forest where Link goes back to and the forest of TP. It looks similar. I dont know if its simply coincidence or intentional. Could the entrance to Termina be just beyond the Sacred Grove?

I'm not sure I ever noticed that, but that doesn't mean nobody else has.

Yeah, and if that's so, that would help the connection of ALttP master sword with it being in the Lost Woods.

I say this thread requires pictures of these locations.

(I couldn't find a picture of Link just riding Epona in this forest, but I'm sure we all remember it right?

Ive always thought these two scenes were really similar, maybe they were thinking of it when they made it? Maybe not... who knows?!

You could be right with this theory. Too bad there's no real way to test it out and see if it's true.

It's def possible, nobody can deny this since they are both in the lost woods. Would be nice if it was haha

Because if two forests both have trees in it, they must be the same one.

There actually is an inaccessible beta area of the Lost Woods in TP that looks like the opening level of MM. Look it up.

Depends, does this forest actually end? If not then it's safe to say its the same.

I highly doubt it. Seeing that Hyrule is fictional, and there is no actual way to send a person to the Sacred Grove to check it out, there's no reason to think they are connected. Even if there was a beta forest in TP, we would have to see an actual entrance to Termina in the game, to say that they're connected.

^ It's called theorizing, and this dosen't even affect the timeline. Personally I like, just go along with it.

Since TP and MM are both on the Child timeline, i figured theres a direct connection between the two forests. The TP beta forest and the MM forest looks so much alike. Thanks for the pics, you guys. Even the non-beta Lost Woods area in TP is similar in layout. Its a shame that in MM, we didnt get a really really good look at the forest.

Kinda makes me wonder, just how long was Link stuck in Termina? Time was obviously warped....

Link was in Termina for four days.

If time passes faster in Hyrule, Link would have some majorly messed-up jet lag.

If time passes slower in Hyrule, it would explain why Link doesn't need to sleep during a four-day adventure.

I'm guessing that when Link got back to Hyrule, only about one day had passed.

I think that while only a few days pass in Hyrule, a long time passes in Termina.
How else could the Skull Kid be the imp from ancient times?

This would mean that a few days in Termina was only minutes in Hyrule...

I do admit that for all I know, Skull Kid can live for centuries or even millenia...

EDIT: On the other hand, HMS must be back in Hyrule in 3 days,
so maybe time flows equally in Termina and Hyrule...

Someone should look in WW for the same thing, a rock in the forest island (god I forget the name. I was just there 2 hours ago) see if we have some Termina on the AT.

Meh, he doesn't sleep in any of the games, like OoT and TP, except at the start.

Tatl mentions sleeping, so it must exist in that game.
