AST - canon???

I just wanted to make this thread to see what people think of AST (Ancient Stone Tablets)

I'm not sure if I should add it to my timeline.. I'm not sure what to even think about it.

And people before you start posting "Your Wrong!" or "This thread is Cr*p because AST is not canon" don't bother, I know you can post your opinion but just try to be brief and back up your opinion.

Just kidding.

It has lots of suggestions for concepts such as how Ganon is resurrected, so including it as canon would affect the timeline. If you count it as canon, you have to wonder why the Gods didn't just pull another hero from our world after the Hero of Time disappeared before WW. AST says that they can, so why didn't they do it?

Realistically, it is hard to tell. But an email regarding this matter sent to Nintendo of America would be quite humorous. "That is not a real Zelda game and once again, there isn't a true frame of reference or time line possible for the series."

I'm gonna go ahead and call semi-canon on this one.

For those of you not familiar with the concept, you can include it as canon because it might very well be but if you're not including it then that's fine too.

Why do I consider it as such? Well for one, it was made as a sequel to AlttP. That being said, it never appeared in the -98 timeline which it should've since its position was very clear. Its contents is also somewhat questionable, bringing a modern avatar to Hyrule...
