As for what constitutes a canon game. I say anything developed by or at least supervised by the Zelda team. AST and LCT fall under this category.

I dont thinks its canon for one reason. It has no story. I think the point of a canon game is too have a story doing something with the series.

After TP, Link ventures off to clean the monsters from Hyrule. Is that not enough of a story?

It has as much of a story as the original (Ganon stole the Triforce of Power and kidnapped Zelda; recover the Triforce of Wisdom and kick his ass).

It does have a story.. you think Link would just go and sleep in his tree house all day for the rest of his life? No! He would go do something a HERO should do like ... ummm I don't know ... maybe archery training!!!!?

And what about all the monsters that you didn't kill in TP? he prob went to clean it up like he should have but didn't casue he had to kill ganondorf..

so yeah there is a story.. a pretty big one.. well not that big but still.

Have you read any of the posts here. Link is "cleaning up" Hyrule after Ganon.

Plus, what difference does it make if it's canon? Non really, it might as well just be.
