Timelines: Is there even an Adult and Child Timeline?

The thing is, I don't know where else to put it.

You could stick it after LoZ/AoL, after FSA, or you could just go with a variation of my timeline.

Well that could work, but I don't know about going after FSA or AoL because I do think that Ganon no longer exists after those games.

I am a linearist, but it dosen't seem that is any longer possible. But, when I create my timeline, I'm creating 3 different possibilties

1) Split (bring most possible)
2) Linear
3) Split then Merge

Ganon definitely exists after FSA, trapped in the Four Sword.

sigh I just hope that sooner or later the timeline will be release (since a long time ago Miyamoto confirmed the old timeline OoT - LoZ-AoL- ALttP) I hope he confirms the new one so far.. at leas adding 2 or 3 more games ( including MC's placing)

^Ha! That would be the day... Actually, (I've said this before) I think an official release of the timeline would be bittersweet. I'd get self satisfaction that there finally is a timeline, but then I'd be out of a hobby (besides writing).

why MM on both side of the timeline?

And Im just going to guess that you have OoX as the reason how the MS comes back even tho its very questionable which of the 4 ways of getting the MS should be canon(or even its it should be considered canon) and why it never became important to the storyline or gameplay in any real shape or form, but that is just from my point of view on the MS in OoX.

I wouldn't say it's "squeaky" clean, but good enough. Just remember to remove MM from before WW when presenting this timeline to prevent some rather pointless arguments.

Arranged from greatest to least importance:
Sage name towns, waterlogged and islandy nature of the map including coasts not seen in any other games bar the FS games and tWW's storyline, no reason for the sleeping Zelda and Triforce legends to have faded into obscurity, as in aLttP which is actively said to have legends only surviving as hear say every townsperson still knows every detail of the Triforce whereas ONLY Impa (the guardian of Zelda and the magic secrets) knows of these things in LoZ/AoL implying significantly less knowledge that aLttP's Hyrule.

MM can't happen twice because it's child timeline events only. Link disappears on the Adult timeline completely, and is never able to leave to Termina on that timeline. Do you even understand the concept of the split timeline? Zelda splits the timeline during OoT ending, not in MM.

I have a feeling you forgot the purpose of this thread already. It's if there WASN'T a CT and AT. It's if the rule of the paradox at the end of OoT DIDN'T apply.
