The Goron and Zora war- battle on land
Mosty of the Goron boats had now reached the shore. The Zoras retreated back onto the shore, hiding behind rocks, shooting Zora boomerangs whenever they could. The Gorons stormed the shore, swords drawn, and rolled, without knowing where they were going, up the shore. This attack proved to be succesfull, more than twenty Zora troopers were ran over by the spikes that came out of the Gorons when they rolled.
The rock catapults had now knocked over almost all of the pillars, killing about thirty-five Zoras that weren't able to retreat behind rocks in time. After the Gorons rolled about half-way up the shore, they stood up, stabbing Zoras whenever they could. Maeanwhile, Darunia had landed, letting out a loud battlecry as he ran up the shore, slaughtering Zoras left and right. He kept doing this, until he looked down and saw that there was blood running down his chest. He saw a shard of Zora boomerang sticking in him where the stream of blood began. It wasn't too painful, so he kept running up the shore, stabbing Zoras.
The Zoras, meanwhile, were being forced to retreat even farther back, into the woods, where they would hide behind trees and fire boomerangs. With all the pillars destroyed, the Gorons were firing the flaming rocks into the woods, burning trees and Zoras. Soon the Gorons had to stop firing into the woods, because the Gorons that were storming the beach had almost reached the woods.
Darunia's wound was getting worst. He was losing blood very quickly, and he began to slow down, and drop his sword. He was hit with another Zora boomerang, this time in the stomach. It was a bad wound. Darunia staggered and fell to the ground. A large puddle of blood surrounded him, as he layed there. He slowly began to pass out, hearing the cries of the Goron troopers.
"Man down! Man down! Darunias down! Somebody get over there and help him"!
The next thing Darunia knew, he was in a Zora camp, lying on a small bed on the ground. His wounds had been stiched up, and the two boomerangs were taken out of him. A few minutes passed, and a Zora came in.
"Your little army lost the battle, they are all dead, we didn't have enough room for prisoners, so we killed them all, and let the wounded lay there and die".
Darunia couldn't move, he couldn't speak. He wondered how the Gorons lost the battle. It had been going so well. What had happened?!
After Darunia had passed out, the Gorons seemed to go crazy. They rushed with all their might at the Zoras, killing as many as they could. Seeing that they would lose if they didn't do something, the Zoras burned all of the Goron boats that they could find and they made a loop around Lake Hylia and went back into the water, where they shot Zora boomerangs at the Gorons. This tactic worked really well, because the Gorons couldn't go into the water to fight them. The Zoras made shields and put them over their heads to protect them from rocks that the Gorons were throwing. Because of the Gorons crazed state, they didn't think to retreat and instead they just kept throwing rocks at the Zoras, until most of the Gorons were dead.
