The legend of Zelda: The Ocarina of Time-Revisited

This is my Fan fic.

Here it goes
This is just the intro first, the chapters will be released after I get some feed back.

The Ocarina of Time Revisited


“Six sages, now!” Zelda screamed.
All of the sages gathered up their power simultaneously, and opened the gate to the Evil realm, sucking Ganon into the white abyss.
“You...Curse you Zelda! Curse you sages! Curse you Link! Some day when this seal is broken, this is when I will exterminate your descendents. As long as the Triforce of power is in my hand!” when he was sealed in the chamber of time
“Thank you Link...Thanks to you, Ganondorf has been sealed inside the Evil Realm! Thus peace will once again reign in this world...for a time. All the tragedy that has befallen Hyrule was my doing...I was so young; I could not comprehend the consequences of trying to control the Sacred Realm. I dragged you into it. Too. Now it is time for me to make up for my mistakes...You must lay the master to rest and close the Door of Time. However by doing this, the road between times will be closed.” Zelda reaches her hand out and says “Link give the ocarina to me. As a sage I can return you to your original time with it.”
Link hands over the ocarina.
“When peace returns to Hyrule...It will be time for us to say goodbye. Now, go home, Link. Regain your lost time! Home where you are supposed to be...the way you are supposed to be.” Zelda then plays her lullaby and with the echoes of music and clouds, Link is transported to the Temple of time.
Link turns his head to the pedestal and slowly walks forward. He un sheathes the master sword, then points it downward and grasps its cold, steel handle with both hands and raises his arms high. He closes his eyes and takes a deep breath, then quickly and powerfully he strikes the pedestal with the master sword, while he placed the sword into the pedestal and as the white glow appeared he saw the face of…him self with his face soaked in blood with strange markings on his face laughing a sadistic laugh. Link opened his eyes widely with an expression of shock on his face as he disappeared in time and as he forgot everything that had happened while stopping Gannon all the good and bad memories faded away and he released his hand from the handle of the master sword as everything seemed to fade away with the flow of time and the malicious laugh.

I think one of your sentences was a run-on. 100 100 100 100!!!!!!!!! 100 POSTS! YEAH!!!

Oh good, my first response! I'll try and fix that erron zeldaishawt. Now on to chapter 1!

ok not that exciting, but here it goes

Ch1. A rude awakening

Link woke up in the middle of the night from a bad nightmare with his heart pounding and he was breathing heavily with sweat dripping down his forehead. He had a terrible dream that he couldn’t quite remember. He tried to remember what his dream was but he couldn’t quite seem to grasp it. After a while of grabbing his hair and tightly closing his eyes trying to remember he saw a glimpse of an older guy that resembled him with his face and body soaked in blood he opened his eyes and shouted, then scurried to the closest wall in his house that he could feel his way to. He stuck to the wall with a look of unimaginable fear on his face, eyes pried wide open and his arms grabbing at the wall and his back against it with his feet pushing away at nothing. He stayed frozen against the wall for a while until he realized that there was nothing there and slowly calmed down and got up to go get a drink of water. He reached into his cabinet to get a small wooden cup that his best friend Saria had made him for his 8th birth day. Link took his pail of water out from under his desk and scooped a cup full of water and headed over to his bead when he heard someone climbing up his ladder that led into his house. Link stood frozen in his foot steps half way across his room. The sound of stepping on the ladder rungs had stopped he could hear someone or something walking forward. Link started shaking in fear he could only imagine what it was … he thought, could it be the person in his dream he got even more nervous and scared just at the thought of that person. It was dark due to it being night time and he could barely make out the figure that stood before him. he thought should he run and hide or should he grab some sort of object to ward it off with. But it was too late to do either he threw his cup of water at the door way and cringed in fear as a high pitched voice screamed “Eek! Link, why did you throw this at me?!”
“Huh? … Saria?” questioned link as he came out of his ball of fear.
“Link! Now I’m all wet and extra cold thanks a lot I was going to ask you for another blanket too! Besides I didn’t mean to spook you or any thing I thought you’d be asleep anyways.”
“Sorry, I had a bad night mare”
“Its ok ill just change my clothes when I get back home but any ways could I borrow a blanket?”
“Yeah sure let me get it” link walked over to his desk and grabbed a blue blanket and handed it to saria.
“Thanks link” Saria said in a sincere voice.
“No problem, do you want me to walk you home?” asked Link
“Um... yeah sure if you don’t mind, I could barely find my way over here without tripping over a root or two.”
They both stepped out onto links balcony and went down his ladder.
As they approached Saria’s door she said “thanks link I really appreciate it”
“Oh no don’t worry about it, and I’m really sorry about throwing that cup at you”
“Oh it’s ok. Alright, good night”
“Goodnight," replied link.
As link walked home he thought of what tomorrow was, then he remembered he had heard the great deku tree talking to one of his fairies about getting him a fairy. Link was excited about getting one because every one else had one. He walked up to his house and went back to sleep now that he was more calm.

Ch2 A Fairy

It was a bright morning in the Kokiri forest; the great deku tree was talking to a fairy about going to become links guardian fairy. The fairy was sent to links house. When the fairy known as Navi reached his house it started yelling and telling link to wake up.
Link was tired and wanted to go back to sleep due to last nights encounter with saria but he was too excited to and quickly over came his sleepiness
“So are you my fairy?” questioned link.
“How did you know you were getting a fairy?” questioned navi
“Umm...”link said while he pondered an excuse of how to say he wasn’t listening in on their conversation about getting him a fairy. Link scratched his head “umm... well uh, you’re a fairy and you’re in my house. So I just assumed that you were my new fairy” link said unsure of himself
“Ok whatever” replied Navi. “Any ways you have to come and talk to the Deku tree” said navi
Link, nodding in recognition said “ok”

As Link walked out of his house, wide awake, he ran through the village with a smile on his face toward the entrance to the Great Deku trees meadow. As he was running he spotted saria and stopped to say hello
“Hey! Saria!” shouted link as he waved his hands above his head
“Hi link” said saria as she turned and saw him “hey thanks for the blanket last night”
“Don’t worry about it” he said as he scratched his head then he paused and said “hey I just got my fairy today and I have to go see the great deku tree today do you want to come with me?”
“Um I don’t think I can it is the first day of spring and you know what that means, spring cleaning! I can’t wait to clean my house” saria replied in her happy voice as she always does.
“Ok then I guess we can do something another time, see you later” link said
“Ok bye have fun”
Link waved his hand bye as he ran off towards the great deku trees place and his new fairy Navi followed.

Oh thank you, I'm not just doing ocarina, it starts off that way, but youll see later how it turns out. Its not the same so keep reading people this is not pointless.

So I guess this means chapter 3! ok.

Ch3.A Quest For a Sword

As link arrived at the entrance to the great deku trees meadow area he was greeted by mido links rival. Mido outstretched his arm and put his hand up “STOP!” mido shouted “you are not allowed in here until you have a sword and shield
“What!” exclaimed link “I was sent here by the great deku tree himself!”
“I will not allow such reckless behavior; it is too dangerous in there.”
“But the great de-“link was cutoff by mido
“No such thing until you get a sword and shield!” he still stood with his hand outward.
“Humph...well ill get a sword then” link stormed off in anger as he searched for a sword and shield.
Link was now looking up in the area with the big rolling boulder. He searched around the corners until he found a treasure chest where he ran up to it and quickly opened it, and then grabbed the Kokiri’s sword out of it. Link was amazed, he had never held a real sword before its weight was much more that he expected because he had only practiced with his wooden sword before. Link decided that he would have to practice with this sword if what mido said was indeed true about their being dangers in the great Dekus meadow. The young boy swung the sword around where no one could see him until he could barely lift the small sword. It was too heavy for him to carry back now because he had tired himself out, he looked in side the treasure chest for something to carry it with and he did indeed find a sheath. So he inserted the sword inside it and carried it on his back as he wearily avoided the large boulder.
Link headed toward the great deku entrance, he remembered that he also needed a shield and he knew where to find one. So he marched off to his house and broke open his piggy bank and pulled out 40 rupees. He ran down to the kokiri store and asked to buy the shield then handed over his 40 rupees. The shopkeeper took the money and in exchange handed him the shield and said “thank you” Link thought nothing of it and snatched the shield then ran off toward the great deku place.
Again he was greeted by mido who yelled “stop! You must have a sword and shield!”
With a grin on his face Link grabbed the now not as heavy sword off his back and the shield he was already holding and showed them to mido.
“Hmm” mido said as he stroked his chin and examined the two items link had presented to him “I guess these will have to do, alright, in you go.” Mido said in a disappointed voice.

umm, ok here's chapter 4

Ch4.the real journey finally begins

After entering the great deku tree area the tree talked to link about an evil curse that had been bestowed on him and link has to rid him of the curse.
So link entered the tree and inside he faced his first real danger when he worked his way through the innards of the giant tree and defeated the evil Queen Gohma.
As link exited the giant tree he was told by the tree that an evil man from the desert had placed this curse on him and he wanted him to go see princess Zelda then gave link the Kokiri’s emerald. Link was confused about all of this and was going to ask the great tree why all of this was happening but the great deku tree told him it was too late for him now and died.
Link stood in front of the tree with the Kokiri’s emerald in his hand. As he gazed upon the now dead tree with a look of determination to fulfill the trees last wishes. When all of a sudden navi left links side to go over and mourn the great trees death then turned toward link and said we should go and see the princess now. And link nodded. Then navi returned to his side and they both headed off towards the bridge that led to Hyrule field.
As he was crossing the bridge he was stopped by Saria’s.
“Link ...why are you leaving?” she said in a sad and often unheard voice with tears in her eyes “I always knew you were going to leave...” sob sob
“...” link stood there on the verge of crying and running back to her.
But Saria broke the silence and said “link I wanted you to have this and I guess now is the time to give it to you” as she stretched out her arm and held a small wooden ocarina.
“What is this?” Link said in a compassionate tone.
“It’s an ocarina” said saria
“Thank you saria” said link as he took the ocarina.
“Link ...when you play this please remember me.”
Then as link looked at the ocarina he backed up slowly then ran away, trying to rid himself of the sadness of perhaps leaving his friend forever.

ok heres chapter 5

The in between

For those of you who haven’t finished the ocarina of time, then you should do so now but for this section all it is the stuff that happens from as soon as link enters Hyrule field and talks to Zelda up until he beats JabuJabu and heads toward the temple of time so I decided to skip it.

Ch5.Ganondorf

After link had gotten the third spiritual stone he headed towards the temple of time. When he reached the castle gates he was stopped by a white horse that ran in his way with princess Zelda and Impa on its back Zelda looked back at link with a worried expression on her face as she took the ocarina of time and tried to throw it to link but it landed in the mote behind him. Soon after Zelda and Impa’s horse passed a dark rider, the same man that link and Zelda had seen while in her room as they peeked through her window known as Ganondorf , Came out following them he stopped by link and said “Boy, which direction was that white horse going in?!”
Link stood his ground because he knew that this man was evil and he wouldn’t give away any information to him he answered with a stern look on his face “...”
“How dare you try and defy me!” roared Ganondorf. He gathered up some dark energy in his hand and said “now one more time, which direction did the white horse go?!”
Link still staid firm and once again did not answer “...”
Fine then boy, take this! Then Ganondorf pulled back his hand and while he did that Link unsheathed his sword and stood in the ready position, then Ganondorf released the ball of energy and yelled. Then with all of links power he could muster up he powered up his sword and released a powerful spin attack knocking the ball of energy back at Ganondorf knocking him off his horse.
With a more surprised than hurt expression on his face Ganondorf got up and said “hmm... maybe you are worth something, get on my horse with me I could possibly use you “
Link stood still and with rage in his eyes he shook his head no.
“fine then, you will have to come the hard way” Ganondorf simply raised his hand to links face and he cast a spell on link that knocked him out and the he grabbed link with one arm and tied him it the back of his horse then mounted it and headed off towards the Gerudo desert .

Its getting better and better each time!

chapter6

Ch6. Links new home

Link awoke with a weird feeling in the pit of his stomach. He was in a prison cell made of rock and clay with steel bars in front of him. The cell was about as wide as links arm span and as long as he was tall and the ceiling was about ten feet high, it was quite cramped inside the cell. Link stood up and grabbed his stomach his swayed a bit then vomited on the floor. He turned around to try and find something to wipe his vomit covered mouth and saw a bucket in the corner he hit his forehead because he was so stupid as to vomit on the floor when there was a bucket right behind him. Now there wasn’t more than a square foot to move around in without stepping in vomit so he backed up against the wall and was expecting to feel his sword and shield hit first but they weren’t there nor were any of his possessions. He looked out of his cell and saw his belongings hanging on a hook but it was too far for him to reach, so he squatted against the wall and wiped his mouth then fell asleep felling hopeless and lost.
As time passed link awoke and saw a woman standing in front of him. She had red hair that was worn up in an elaborate pony tail, she wore a thin tan tunic with numerous other orange and tan pieces of material to accompany it, she also wore green sandals made of dodongo skin and a pair of dodongo gauntlets as well. He looked up into her eyes with a puzzled look for they were yellow with a black slit going down the middle. The woman hid her face with a tan veil and backed away. She said
“I didn’t know you were awake” with a superior tone in her voice.
Link stood up and asked where he was. And the woman replied “you are in Gerudo fortress the fortress of thieves.” She proclaimed.
“give me my things!” link exclaimed.
The woman looked down on him and said “I will return with the masters orders stay put for now , and try and clean that mess up” she turned to walk away and tossed him a rag which landed in front of his cell .
“Why are your eyes like that?”
She stopped in her tracks and turned to face him then Ganondorf walked into the room and the woman bowed on her knees to him and waited there until he motioned for her to rise and she did but now instead of a powerful and superior stance she looked rather inferior with her head down and her shoulders slouched. Ganondorf now wore a large red cape with a gold trim and a design of a snake on the back he turned toward link and said “I cast a spell which knocked you out and vomiting is a side effect of this spell, so I will take you with me and have Gatooru here clean this up.” Then he looked a Gatooru with a look of displease then turned back to link and placed his hand on the lock and emitted a small glow from his hand and the lock opened. Link stumbled out of his cell, for his legs had been cramped in there. He looked toward Ganondorf and was about to tell him to give him his belongings but Ganondorf reached out his hand and links possessions were magneted to his hand. Link looked at him with both awe and fear then quietly followed him without a word. As they were leaving Ganondorf said “Gatooru I will have a word alone with you later” then continued walking out as link followed.
Link followed Ganondorf through numerous hallways made of clay and stone and as they were walking they were getting progressively higher. They came to a long hallway of stairs with Gerudo guards lining the hall way about one guard every ten steps they were all carrying large scythes with snake designs weaving through them the guards all wore the same green and orange tunics with small amounts of copper armor.
All of the guards bowed when Ganondorf passed them. They finally reached a large elegant door way with two large statues on each side of it, the left one was of a woman with yellow jewels for eyes, and the one on the right was a large cobra with yellow jewels in its eyes. They entered the room and two Gerudo honor guards holding large palm leaves set down the palm leaves and bowed to Ganondorf then rose again. Ganondorf told link to wait there then handed him his items and sat in a throne that resembled the cape of a cobra and was lined with pieces of gold and jewels Ganondorf sat in the chair as if had done it a thousand times and had mastered a way to make him seem all powerful as he sat in the throne.
Link started to put his things on and the two guards turned toward him and glared an evil glare then looked toward Ganondorf in perfect symmetry then awaited a signal. “No don’t worry he is of no harm to us” Ganondorf said in a stern tone. They turned away from link and bowed to Ganondorf then gave link another glare and left. Ganondorf turned his view in links direction and said “link, I let you live because I thought you could be of some use to me and if you come to disprove my theory then there will be consequences.”
Link finished placing his items on and then looked at Ganondorf and then asked "how can I help you? Even if I could help you. I never would!"
"I will meet with you later, be prepared to talk." Ganondorf called one of the guards in and told her to lead link to his living quarters.
The tall guard and rather short looking link walked down maze like passages and hallways, until they reached a steel door.
“Here is your room; you stay in here until ordered by someone higher than you in authority orders you otherwise.”
Link replied with a reluctant nod.
In his new quarters was a small cot with hay sticking out of its torn mattress cover. It smelled musty and sandy in his dark room with only one window in it. When he stepped into the musty room he saw two pairs of glowing yellow eyes scurry into a nearby hole in the wall opposite of his bed, Link stepped hesitantly around his room so not to step on any rats if any more were around. It was hard to see in the dark room, he finally reached his bed and laid his things on it. The cot was not very sturdy and threatened to snap when he sat on it so he left his items there and stepped across his room as if he were crossing a stream until he got over to a small wooden stand only about his waist height. He then leaned against the wall and slowly made his way into a squatting position next to the stand. Link wrapped his arm around the leg nearest him and was expecting to feel a smooth wooden texture, but instead felt a rough bitten and scratchy one. He snatched his arm away quickly and scooted a few feet away from the desk.

Go on,Go on! This story is getting interesting! I wanna know what ganondorf does with Link, and if Link becomes a gerudo or something.

Chapter7. Broken

While sitting there staring into the window above his bed he heard foot steps coming toward him down the hallway. He perked up and got on his feet two rats squeaked away into another hole. A quick knocking on links door startled him; Gatooru didn’t even wait for him to answer the door and came in letting in so much light from the torch lit hallway.
“Come with me. You are to make an appearance in front of Ganondorf.” Gatooru said with strict order and no personality in her voice.
Link stood up strait and went to grab his things, but was interrupted by Gatooru
“You won’t need those just follow me.”
He stopped with his hand extended toward his possessions, then drew it back with a look of suspicion in his eyes, then wearily stepped over to Gatooru’s side, awaiting her lead.
They walked quickly down hallways that Link had never seen before, but strangely looked familiar to the other hallways that he had been led through before. Gatooru looked behind her occasionally to see Link staring her in the eyes.
She said while they were walking “you know, you really should stop staring at people, it’s quite rude.”
Link replied with a humph, then looked at the walls as he followed her instead of watching her constantly while passing through the many hall ways.
They both finally arrived at the door way with the snake and woman statues. Gatooru entered and bowed to the mighty king sitting on his throne the she advised link do the same. He glared at Ganondorf while he was not watching and didn’t bow to him; instead he defiantly stood still ignoring Gatooru’s warning. Ganondorf took no note in links behavior and motioned them to come in. Gatooru waited by the door, and shoved link forward. He looked behind at Gatooru with anger then walked forward by himself. The king of thieves sat up in his throne and gazed upon the small boy standing before him.
Ganondorf cleared his throat then shouted “I saw you in Zelda’s courtyard link, I saw you talking to her.” He took a moment to look menacing toward the child then continued “What did she tell you about the Triforce? What did she tell you?!”
Link looked down at the floor and said nothing.
“I asked you what she told you, now tell me!” Ganondorf insisted angrily.
Still link said nothing.
“Boy, don’t make me squeeze the truth out of you with my bare hands, because I will!”
Shaking now Link said nothing, his head hung low, not looking into the eyes of Ganondorf.
“Fine then, the hard way.”
Ganondorf motioned two guards to come and hold Link. Two guards from the staircase leading to his chamber barged into the room, then awaiting the confirmation of their king, held their spears high into the air going down to stab link and pin him to the floor. First one of them quickly swept Link down to the floor with the hilt oh her spear in master precision. Now on his back Link tried to avoid the spears, but the fall had knocked the wind out of him and he couldn’t make it in time. Two silvertips pierced through both of his shoulders pinning him to the ground. With immense pain in his arms they were going num as he screamed in agony, kicking his feet, but this only made the pain more unbearable.
Ganon rose from his throne, then the two guards with palm leaves removed his cape and handed him a massive great sword, with a curved tip instead of a pointed one. He lifted the copper colored mass of steel, as he walked over toward the helpless body bathing in a puddle of blood.
“Every time you insist on not answering, I’ll cut you with a swing of my sword. So what’s it going to be, are you going to tell me what she told you, or” he paused and ran his fingers down the cold steel of his sword, lifting it to his face then pulled it back behind his head and swung towards Link’s torso stopping before he hit him “would you like my sword to taste you blood?”
Link coughed up blood out of his mouth then cringed at the pain in his shoulders. He wished he could tell him, wished he could get rid of the pain. But then he thought, that’s what he wants me to do, that’s what I’m not supposed to do. Then the boy stood his ground unwillingly, and said nothing.
“Oh good then, my blade was hungry!” Ganon lifted his blade with one hand horizontally behind his head then twisted his waist back, lifted his foot up and swung a powerful blow to links cheek. Although powerful, the cut was only about a centimeter deep, but was cut very cleanly with precision and accuracy.
Link tried to grab at his cheek, but his arms were still, because the spears had hit a nerve, rendering his arms motionless. He hissed with pain, and the long cut spewed blood, coloring his cheek crimson red. Tears mixed with the blood, making it run faster down his face.
“Now do you wish to tell me?” Ganondorf said with pleasure as he looked at Link’s agony. He didn’t give Link a chance to reply and swung his sword at links stomach, releasing a river of blood. Links shirt now torn was soaked in blood from the long horizontal wound on his stomach. He curled his torso trying to stop the pain, but it was of no use. The blood continued to flow.
“Now?!” Ganondorf shouted.
Link coughed more blood, and let out a loud moan, and now tears of a crimson color flowed down his red face. He was now enduring more pain than ever before in his life, and still did not tell him, he stayed silent other than the sobs and screaming.
“Why won’t you tell me!” ganondorf yelled then with the swing of his blade he slashed at Link, coloring in the rest of Links body with red. The heap of crimson screamed and shouted, until finally he fell unconscious, still not revealing the secret of the Triforce.
Disgusted with links behavior, Ganondorf turned away from him and ordered some more guards to bandage him up. Then handed his sword to another and sat in his throne, and angrily cursed at Link as his unconscious body was taken away.

wow.......dont ya think Link would die? From blood loss? It must be so Painfull......keep writing man, its awesum, i wanna noe if Link defeats ganon @ the end,keep going!

No hes not gonna die, c'mon hes Link he never dies! I dont know, mabey I should have thought of that but no hes fine not fine fine, just like alive fine.

Ch.8 Gatooru’s bloodline

Link awoke with an extremely bright light in his eyes. He was going to cover his eyes, but an extremely sharp pain was shot through his body. “Agh!” Link moaned. He now remembered what had happened to him the night before. Trying to ignore the sun he looked around to find himself outside, apparently lying on part of the fortress. His body was throbbing with pain, pulsating the memory of his attacker: Ganondorf.
A familiar voice from somewhere near him said “I see you’re awake.” It was Gatooru’s voice. Link propped his head up with immense amounts of pain to see what was going on. Gatooru hopped down from a higher part of the fortress, landing next to Link. “You had quite an encounter last night.” She said while looking at his body wrapped in cloth, almost looking like a mummy. “I was sent to see that you dry out.”
“Wait, why are you being so nice to me all of a sudden?!” Then he gasped in agony because holding his neck up like that was hard work for him. He lied his head back down on the stone.
“Why, because a similar experience also happened to me. I was young like you; my family belonged to a bloodline of elite Gerudos. We had the blood of a cobra in our veins. We were known as the highest and most powerful of the Gerudos. Until a day came when a male Gerudo was born, he was Ganondorf. I was born at the same time as him. When he grew older, people started to respect him more, he grew powerful in sorcery and strength. However my bloodline frightened him, he became fearful of us some day dominating his power.”
“In this stage in time, the Gerudos respected my bloodline and Ganondorf equally. He feared more and more that we might dominate him. So, he decided to kill us off. He first tortured and killed my mother. But to do this, he isolated us one by one. Then he grew fond of my sister, and they went to his chamber where he deceived her and killed her.”
“I was the last one left. During our adolescent years, we were friends, but when Ganon started fearing us he severed our friendship, to be superior to me. He wanted to harness this power, and use it for himself, however I was the last one with this power, and he had recklessly killed the others. He did the same basic thing to me what he did to you, with the same sword.”
Link didn’t know what to say, so he just lay still, with his eyes wide open.
“Well, I better get some clean bandages for you, I’ll be back.” Gatooru said as she stood back up from her squatting position, then walked towards a doorway to get some bandages for Link.

It's shaping up it be quite the story. Very good job and I think you should continue.

sorry people, school has been hectic, yeah i know. But here is chapter nine, I have like a ton of ideas now, and I am back into writing this, so expect more on the way. I'm really sorry.

Ch.9 the Beginning...

A few months have passed since Link had been injured, and he is now almost completely recovered from his injuries. Link has also become known among the Gerudo tribe and is close friends with Gatooru. After Ganondorf gave Link the beating, Link has learned to fear him and do as he says.

Link stepped out into the dry desert air, and inhaled deeply, he hadn’t been outside for a few days, so this was very refreshing. Gatooru soon followed him outside with a forlorn look on her face. They both sat down on a rock, and an awkward silence between the two lingered for a minuet or two. Link asked “what’s wrong, you aren’t usually so quiet?”
“It’s just you are so innocent and good. It doesn’t have to be like this, why does this have to happen?” Gatooru questioned to herself with wide eyes and a worried look.
“Why does what have to happen?” Link questioned.
“Link...you have to see Ganondorf again. I won’t tell you what it’s about though, I just can’t.” Gatooru paused then continued “Follow me, I’ll lead you there”
“I don’t want to see Ganondorf again! What if he does what he did last time?”
“I don’t either but we must...”
Link got up and walked with Gatooru to where Ganondorf wanted to meet him. When they got there, it was a dark room far beneath the fortress, lit only by a few dim torches. Near the back of the room there was Ganondorf, he was only visible by the glow of a torch on his outward features like his cheeks and nose, his eyes were hollow black holes. “Ahh, so you have come and good Gatooru’s with you.” A gate shut behind Link and Gatooru. Link looked behind him, but Gatooru stood motionless, then bowed to Ganondorf and Link bowed also. “I suppose you want to know why you are here. You are here because today is your birthday Link, today you are born.”
“What? How is today my birthday if I’ve already been born?” Link questioned with a clueless voice.
“Today you begin anew, today you start over.”
“What?! What are you talking about?” Link exclaimed with question.
“I guess Gatooru didn’t tell you.” He glared at her then continued “You change today Link, you come to our side now. You begin your training today. First, a little,” he paused a moment and thought “a little procedure has to be done. A ha ha A ha ha ha ha ha” After he finished the same two guards who had attacked Link before, returned out of the shadows and tried to grab Link. But he knew their style and quickly back flipped then grabbed a lit torch. He held the flaming rod with one hand and tried to ward them off, as if he were warding off an animal.
The two guards spun their staffs, in exact symmetry, showing precision with their weapon. Link swung several times at the two Gerudos, but both of them dodged the shaky blows easily. Link then noticed how nervous and scared he was, and could easily be beaten by these two, unless he thought of another strategy, so he once again back flipped, now with his back against the gate. The guards stayed back, examining Link while slowly moving from side to side. Link decided to take a new approach at this, and aimed...then tossed his torch at the guard on his left. The Guard swatted away the flaming stick like it was nothing, then lowered her spear to a stabbing position, and charged toward Link. Link knew what was going to happen, because it happened to him before...only if he could just roll out of the way. He attempted a roll, and succeeded, but his shirt was skewered, pinning him to the metal gate. The spear head was stuck in between two bars of the gate, and the carrier was having a hard time pulling in out. Oh no, here came guard number two, she took a different approach, and held her spear behind her as she ran, then when she was within striking distance, wham! She swung her spear tip at Link, this time he couldn’t and was sliced across the stomach. A minor injury, but it still hurt plenty. With guard number two still recovering her balance from swinging, the first guard finally pulled her spear tip out of the gate, and stabbed at Link again. Now being free of the guards spear, link quickly dodged the blow and grabbed a torch off of the corner he was being cornered into. The first guard now took her chance and threw her spear at the cornered child. Without thinking, Link put the torch out in front of him, hoping to block the spear, but he did not succeed, and the torch shattered and splintered the wooden torch, stabbing Links hand.
“Agh!” Link screamed, with an extreme look of agony on his face, as he dropped the two pieces, and grabbed his pierced hand. With blood running down his hand, and tears in his eyes, he pulled the spear out of his hand with a loud yell, and gripped it with his good hand, his right hand, which was his shield arm, not his sword hand. He then swung the spear in rage at the two guards, even though he was not skilled with his right hand, he still had speed, because he endured so many blows with that hand, blocking enemies. He swung so fast that the guards could barely make out the blur of a weapon. The guard that still had her spear blocked the blows with a worried expression in her eyes as she backed away. The guard with no weapon left her companion and tried to run away, but Link threw the spear at her as soon as he saw her leaving, but because of his rage blurring his vision, he didn’t even come close to hitting her. Now with no weapon, an injured hand, and a weakened stomach, Link could do nothing and fell on his knees, and bent forward, grabbing his face, and bawling his eyes out in his hands.
The guard, which was running away before, now calmly walked over, and kicked Link from behind, and sent him face first onto the rocky floor. Then when he lifted his tear muddened face, to get a breath of air, the other guard kicked him in his side, and turned him over. Then with every thing spinning around him, and the murmuring of the guards’ voices, he passed out.
