[Poetry] The Zelda Haiku Thread! Open To All!

Hey, friends! I was suddenly compelled to start a random art/writing thread, so hello, it's been a while, and OMG I couldn't find an official community Zelda haiku thread. (I did a search, forgive me if I overlooked it...)

So, let's write haikus about Zelda together!

*RULES*

This is not a thread for haiku competition. All submissions are there to simply be shared and enjoyed.

Of course, let's remember that the rules of the haiku are as follows:
Line one = 5 syllables
Line two = 7 syllables
Line three = 5 syllables

Most of all, have fun! I'll start:

The Hero of Time
Steps forward to draw the blade
which is evil's bane

Cool idea for a thread! I'm intrigued to see what we can come up with. Here's what I have.



I must save Zelda
Hyrule is lost without her
Ganon will be stopped

Thief. Desert brigand.
He longs to wield the Gods' might.
No cost is too high.

Lol, I am dah Link
I can swing my sword around.
Oh look! A ruppee!

I am the hero
Destined to save the gods' land
I defend their might

So saddening to see a promising thread dying. I'll add a companion piece to my previous haiku:

Ancient Demon!
Demise' hatred wrought anew!
Begone! In the void!

I think I'll post another as well. Lets keep this thing going!

Ganondorf is gone!
Peace has returned to Hyrule
What do I do now?

Off to Termina!
Ready for any sort of trouble
I stand with my sword.

Son of a cucco,
they attacked me once again!
The feathery beasts.

Aquatic creature
Our offspring would frighten me
No thank you Princess

Oh my, these are all so AMAZINGLY AWESOME! I'm totally giggling at Big Macintosh and Wheatly's right now!!

Mistress Fi appears
There's a 90 per cent chance
she will annoy me

That's an enemy: Ganon!"
