Let's Start a Writing Cirlcle

(We are still looking for more Authors)
I'm new to ZU and I'm not sure if you guys do writing circles, but I want to make one with who ever would be availible.

Our Story would be...
1) A new adventure for Link
2) Have a strong female character [like Midna]
3) Have the villian be Dark Link
4) Let Zelda think she's a man... again [lol]
5) Have atleast a reffernce to Ghirahim in it [or make him paart of the cast]

It would be written like this...
-I would start the first chapter and we would go on from there

I would like 3+ writers

I hope you are interested, it would tons of fun!

What a cool idea~! We've actually got a thread set-up for a zombie/western story, too. A fanfiction collab would be really cool though! I'd join in if I wasn't so busy with school; I'll be keeping an eye out though, and will defs read~

I might join in! I'm actually doing a collab myself, right now. Contemplating on whether or not to let one of the other guys stay, though, since he hasn't sent in his first chapter yet.

ANYWAYS, QUESTION TIME:

Would each writer control a specific character like in RP, but given more freedom in controlling other people's characters?

How long would each chapter need to be?

Where would it take place (Hyrule, obv., but where in Hyrule)?

I would gladly join in, but like Solsetur, I would need questions answering:

Do we each play a Zelda character?

Where is the setting? (Maybe somewhere other than Hyrule?)

We need a definite story line too. Once we're ready to begin writing, we will start a new thread, won't we?

You would be free to control all characters and I would hope that would, It'll take place all over Hyrule (Such as Zora's Domain, Gurado Desrt/Fortress, ect. and I was thinking of adding a few new villages and city/towns [I've already played around with Jaton Village, a home town for Link])

The story line I've got so far goes like this-

1) A pub owner in the Jaton village discovers a girl in the near by woods right after a lunar eclipse
[This girl would be a strong lead who later is cursed into the form of a fairy]
2) Link goes to a nere by city to pick up midicine for the pub owner to give to the girl found in the woods
3) The girl turns out to be a demon from the shadow realm
-Main plot The Legend of Zelda: the Fourth of the Tri
(The dark center would be the tri force of death, I know that doesn't add up cuz tri is 3 but this is zelda i mean really it sounds confusing so it will be good)
-The death triforce is a position not a goddess given power, the only way to get it from people is to kill them.
(-I want the goddesses Din, Nayru and Farore to be involved more)

I am up for alters in the story line so far so give me any more ideas and I'll be glad to ad them .

oh, i forgot to tell you how long each capter would be, about 7-10 paragraphs (I know it sounds like alot, but it really isn't)

iDin, this sounds brilliant! I love your idea about the demon girl (which I'm presuming would be some sort of NPC companion for Link.) and this pub owner. (we need a name for him/her...maybe a descendant of Pumm/Telma?)

Although I like the idea of a power being gained through death, (because it reminds me of horcruxes from Harry Potter. ) I don't think it should be a piece of the Triforce. (or Tetraforce.) The Triforce is sacred: let's keep it that way.

How about creating a whole new powerful object around death? Maybe...a Death Sword? (It can only be earned by murder, and its master can resurrect and army of the dead.)

We will need a name for the villain, who could be after the item of death in order to become ruler of the dead. We also need a plot line for the companion. Oh, an of course, we need characters for ourselves. I'm presuming you would be playing the role of the hero/companion?

I like your ideas (let me noe just take the time to say i love your signature, did you draw that?). And I was thinking that we would call the pub owner Jayla.... idk why but it just sounds right . I want the chapters to be in a third person or omnius point of view, we woul all get to control the character on our turn to write I'm not sure if it would be an issue or not if link could speek, cuz i want him too. For the companion i was thinking maybe we could name her Vexpi (it seems newer unless you start thinki8ng about Vaati) For vexpi's story line i was thinking she could steel the triforce from the villians girlfriend/mistress (i dont want to give him a wife cuz thats to civilized), she runs away to the light realm and tries hidding there. Later on she gets zaped back into the shadow realm and is denying she stole it, she is cursed into a fairy and banished to ligth realm mean while her lover/friend is told she was killed and is in deep depresion mood. How's that sound?

Awesome!!! So, Vexpi was originally a woman, but was cursed to a fairy, right? So, who was she originally? A Princess? A Sage? Maybe even a Twili? (The Shadow Realm could be the Twilight Realm?)

I think that the villain's mistress should play a bigger part than the villain at first. She could regularly meet Link and challenge him by setting traps, and just generally intimidating him. But we need names for both of them. I'll think up names in my post, then we can edit them if needed.

Wrenbi sounds great I love your addition to the story, I was kind of thinking Vexpi could have been created by Dark Link (I think he should be the king of the dark realm) just for personal uses. But Vexpi's not very found of her job at the palace what do you think?

That's an awesome idea!!! I like teh way you've gathered many different villains into one room! So, is Dark Link good or bad in this story?

OMG, maybe Link and Dark Link could meet later in the story, and Dark Link needs Link's help to overthrow Stalmort?

sounds good to me, but dark link needs to be evil, maybe he could kill Stalmort or Stalmort could kill Dark Link

I don't know...Dark Link and Link could work together for a while until Dark Link betrays Link at the end, so he becomes the almighty one?

sounds good to me, but at first i want dark to be evil, then switch, and then switch agaiin.

I sort of agree, the Tetraforce was not meant to be...but it's just a story.

It is just a story, but it will be judged by the standards set by the lore.

Is it too late to join in? I'm new to fanfictioning (letters to Impa is my first) i think it would be nicce to learn from great fanfictioners. It's alright tho if this thread is full.

OMG, is that your thread? I love it! Though I have not yet completed Skyward Sword, so I shouldn't really be reading it. Don't worry, our thread's certainly not full! Just read through the story and feel free to post. It is written in the third person, and you can write from the viewpoint of any character you want!
