Looking for ideas to finish a Fanfic Chapter

Oh awesome section idea. I've been stuck on a chapter of my Zelda fanfic for so long, I don't know how long it's been anymore. >_<

Link is in an ice/water dungeon and is in the second and last section of it. He he's gone through a couple rooms and melted the ice in the main room to give him access to some more areas. To get through the whole dungeon, he has to melt and freeze the ice a few times. He does not have the iron boots or Zora Tunic because, well, he doesn't need them in this story. Link also already has the main treasure of the temple, the Flame Staff. He's come back to the main room which is now filled with water. I don't know what to write now. x.o

I've already got a boss and mini boss ready (there are two mini bosses, one already fought and defeated).

I think most of the advice given there still stands, Ranny. Cut down on dialogue and add in more description and details.

Because this is a place to seek writing help, not a place to share fanfics. That's for the fanfiction section.

Yeah, now that I look at it again, you're right. Gosh, this has to be like the tenth time I'd have edited that chapter already. xP

While I confess I haven't read any of the fic, I will still try to be of service. Okay, so you've got all this stuff for the dungeon already written. Where do you want it to go from there? Like you said, you have already have another mini-boss and a boss planned out, but how is Link getting there? These are the kinds of questions you should be asking yourself.

Something that might help you to decide how you want to write this dungeon would be to just create it yourself. Draw it out on paper. Place the traps/switches/puzzles where you want them. It doesn't have to be anything fancy. A crude representation is really all you'd need. That would give you a clearer sense of not only how the dungeon work and how Link will navigate it, but also how to more precisely and consistently explain this dungeon to the reader.

^Yeah, I usually draw a picture in my head since I'm pretty good at that. Thanks for the advice. :]

Okay, I've edited my first chapter and I've come up with a few new ideas for the current chapter in progress, but I'll need more. Now I have Link using a giant fan to melt the ice and freeze it back. To melt it, he adds the flames of his flame staff into the fan by plugging it into a jack just the right size for it and turns the fan on. To freeze it, he simply turns the fan on without adding the staff's power. XD

C'mon, TWW had fans. xP
