July Writing Contest

Is it that time again? It's a little bit late again, but it really wasn't my fault this time. You see, I found the world's greatest internet site, basically it's a website for a brand of lady undergarments and it presents a computer simulation of how their product compares to leading brands. It was...hypnotic.

Anyway, that wore thin after a few hours so here's this month's contest! I think you'll find an interesting challenge in this month's contest. Writing comes in all kinds of forms and styles, so let's see how we all go at....*drrrrruuuum rrrrroooolllll*....SONGWRITING!

Thanks to last month's winner, candc32 for this month's style and theme. Remember, if you win this month's contest, you get the privelege of choosing the theme and style for next month.

We'll have shiny banners for first place and runner-up. If we get enough entries, there just might be a shiny third place banner as well.

Seeing as we have the Discussion Thread now, I'm going to suggest that posts in this thread would be specifically about clarification of this particular contest's rules. For example, a post like 'Hey, just wondering. if my entry is over by 50 words, is that okay?' would go in this thread but a post like 'I think this month's theme is interesting' would go in the Discussion Thread.

When the voting thread is put up, all discussion about the entries would go in the Discussion Thread.

Anyway, I hope that's everything.

You bribed the judges to have yourself awarded a position in the rankings so that you may get to pick the theme, and now you shall stack the odds in your favor so that you shall win and win and always pick the next theme and then from there you will just continue to win and pick the theme until you become so popular by 2012 that you are awarded the oppurtunity to pick the theme for the presidental debate of which you are running in and will have a planned theme so randdom that only you will be prepared and you shall use this post-debate excitment over your 'brillant' theme and abilities to win the presidental election and from there on put before Congress a law that shall give you power all theme related matters...

But I figured you out, my superior intellect will defeat you!

I'm going to attempt to get in this one. I'm so busy, I forgot to look here, hopefully I can make it in time. I"ve been meaning to write a song about something lately, this will be a good time to get around to doing it ^^
