NaNoWriMo Discussion Thread.

Right, so we haven't had one of these yet. Anyway, this is the same deal as the encouragement thread that was made for ZuNoWriMo, but for NaNoWriMo.

Feel free to discuss your novels, ask for advice, give support, or just flat out brag. :XD

Ah, screw you guys. I was going to do NaNoWriMo until I realized it was too late. With the Wii coming out, and tons of events planned... I don't think I could've done it anyway.

Meh, I still have yet to start NaNoWriMo either...

Gah, no inspiration sucks.

No, but you'd have a lot of catching up to do.

According to the minimum post per day guideline, by the end of today, everyone should be at 14994. =/

You don't have to have any inspiration, James. When I signed up, someone lent me this book called No plot? No problem!. I just have my characters sitting about doing not much. It kind of stinks, but I'm meeting my word quota and eventually I'm sure I'll make them do something.

I've got about 30,000 words now. ^^ I'm going to try and review each NaNoWriMo posted, if, of course, the authors don't mind me doing so.

... I would have an interesting story if I had the slightest idea of how to execute it. But I don't. =P

I presently have about 13,000 words. I am getting really tired, but I love the work I'm doing. I write my stuff, then I rewrite it to lengthen it.

I've got 20,323, but I'm afraid I might slow down this weekend. I'll try to meet the recommended amount each day, though.

I have 739 words... way behind, but did start.

I need to find a day off... whatever that is.

I have a story, but I'm finding it difficult to express through scenes.
I've been writing in my journal all week, and I'm telling myself to type it all in to do a word count tonight. I don't think I have more than a thousand though.

There's no necessity for double posting when you can edit your original message. ^^ There's a button at the bottom corner of your post, aptly labeled, that will allow you to do just that.

As for NaNoWriMo, you can go to the official site to create an account, but for the purpose of ZU, no signing up is necessary, just... begin your story. 50,000 words is the minimum for word count.

If you're asking that question this far into the game, you're in trouble. The answer, as Selah was kind enough to provide, is 50,000 words before November 30th comes to an end.

It seems hard after the first few days, but then you get used to it, and then it grows harder again as you near the end. Or, at least, that's how it's going for me.

Wow. That's pretty amazing.

Seeing as I no longer have a deadline to meet, it'll probably take me weeks to reach that. :XD

When is there gunna be another ZuNoWriMo?

More than likely either in October or December.
