The Land Before Time

The first is the best. A great story with great classical music! The sequels with their sing along stuff were okay for what they were, but no where near touch the first.

Oh god. I adored it as a child, though I forgot everything about it.

i grew up with them, but i never actually wtched most of them...
i watched 1,3,7,8 and 7 was my favorite. but prolly because i watched it soooo many times XD

Ditto. All I can remember are the characters. I remember that I loved all of dem. x3

These were some of my faves as a kid, that and Alice in Wonderland, other disney movies too. The first will always be the best, it sucked when they started making it more sing-song than movie. I think even the youngerset got pissed about that at some point xD

i watched 3 of them last year, though i only liked the first one now, i loved the first 6 when i was a kid. But i was surprised at how different the first was from the rest, it was simply epic!

I never really saw the sequels but the original Land Before Time was freaking epic. Don Bluth wins all.

I watched the first 6. I'd say the first 3 and the 5th were good, but the first one is on a completely different level than the rest, it's just a - ****ing - mazing and it really was one of those experiences as a kid that shapes you for life.

I only saw a couple, but none of the ones I saw were like the 1st one in appeal.

I do appreciate that first one, though. The later ones didn't ruin it for me, so I'm sure I could see the others. But the first was classic. The others (that I saw) were meh to me.

This thread is making me want to rent out The Land Before Time. D: It's been at least 12 years since I last saw it.

^ I still have my original VHS copy... that thing has to be well over 15 years old by now.

...*sniffles* When his mommy died it was SOOO sad. It's really a pretty sobering movie.

I had no idea they'd made so many of these movies. I don't think I'll ever catch up.
