Now I know I am horrible at Photoshop, and it shows because I did not know how to do half the things in there.
I stopped at the point where you apply the wave.
It's a nice tut, though, and those familiar with Photoshop will get a good sig out of it.

EDIT: Hey, for the second part, with the brushings, you could probably substitute C4D renders and desaturate, right? x:

I tried it out, and my result was.. pretty bad. xD I messed up the gradients, I think. The colouring was a little off.

But it's a great tutorial and it gave me some nice ideas. :] So, nice job.

Panique, I suggest just playing around with gradients. Try different colors that look good together.

Very nice tut, overall, musical zombie. The only thing I was even slightly confused about was the gradients. Did you put them diagonally, or regular?

I just put them regularly XD I used the marquee tool and gradient tool when I was making the tutorial itself so it's messed up.

Just make regular gradients.

oh my...i have the lovely brushes and everything...just have no clue how to use them in photoshop

Open up the brushes window, and click on the thing that looks like an arrow in a circle. It's in the right top-hand corner. Then, a long list will come up. Click on "Load Brushes" and click your brushes.
