In this tutorial we'll be making a signature like this:

The tutorial is one whole image, and I apologise about that. That's just the way I made it, and I didn't realise you weren't supposed to have it like that. Well atleast in here, anyway.

In this tut, I mainly used filters. I know some people dislike using more than 5 or so filters in one product, but I think it's fine to use them, and is much better than brushes in my opinion. I hardly ever use brushes, just for smudging and lighting I use them. I made this tutorial for my students in the Graphic School, so I tried to explain things well. Yeeeaaah, tried. Oh, and this is my first tut, so don't be too harsh .

GAH Mine is being a tightarse. Most of the tools listed in that tutorial are missing, like the paint bucket, render thingie, lighting thing, and save as. I lost my almost good sig I made D:.

Well I might try again but most tools are missing like I said....

Right click on some of the tools to open more tools. Like for the paint bucket right click the gradiant tool.

Twi, hey that's a pretty nice outcome, even if you didn't follow the tut that much. I like it, I guess the render could be blended in a bit more, but it looks nice. Well done.

Panique, wow! That's nice. Very nice. I really like it, it's nice and clean, and the flow it great aswell. It all blends nicely. Thanks for trying out this tut. Aw and you're just being modest, I reckon it's a great result .

Gah. I think I made a mistake on one of the earlier steps. Just after where you merge the layers, and do a radial blur, on that next step I said do the angled strokes filter, when really it should of been sprayed strokes. Eh sorry about that, I don't think it would make that much of a difference though.

I finally made a sig by print screening it out into paint, i followed about 6 of the steps in the tut and then just did my own thing, I didn't have the font used so I used my own : D

Another shot, definitely not as nice as the first, although I like the angled strokes effect over Princess Peach.

I wish I could do as good as that, I probably could but It aint goin nowhere with a photoshop trial.

How do you import the fonts into your program? I'm using your tutorial but I can't get fonts into the program :[

actually its im possible to import a font into a program, but you can put a font into your font folder (which holds all the fonts used for programs like photoshop and microsoft word). Just paste the font into your font folder (which should be in control panel) and then you can use it with whatever programs you have that use fonts.

Yep, the fonts folder should be in my computer -> control panel -> fonts.
Just paste the font file into there and it should work in all your programs that use fonts.
