Massive sig tutorial [PS][*****][lots of images]

This tutorial is suposed to help out beginers with making signatures on Photo Shop. This is with the original version. So CS2 users wont get the full of their program out of this tutorial

[#fjdin235] Introduction

now some of you may be wondering what a signature is. Is it your initials or something? Is it just a nice font like "Lucida Handwriting"? No. It is a small image/s that jazzes up your profile. Most have your username or something on along with an image of some character you like and some effects to make it look cool. Here are some examples

To start making a signature you must be able to open a new file. So to do this go to the top Left corner of the screen and you should see a command line up. It should have the words (commas are added to seperate each word) " File, Edit, Image, Layer, Select, Filter, Veiw, Window, Help ". Click file and then click new or you can click ctrl+N. There you are able to select what color type you want(such as RBG color or greyscale) and the size of your sig(ortherwise known as dimensions). When you have made everything to suit what you want click OK. Now continue to the next section.

to add text you must first select the text tool

then click where on your image you would like to add text. Type in what you want to type and it will be there.For good text effects visit the Layer styles /adjustment Layer zone.
