Originally, this was going to be a tournament between two communities - VGRC and ZU - but that got scrapped after the April Fool's joke got out of hand. So we (me + staffers) decided to hold out on the Brawl tournament, make it ZU-exclusive, and host it after the first pages of the Brawl section of the site launched.

That happened today. Which means that it's time for a tournament. A tournament not just consisting of an elite few; no, an elite many. Signups start right now, and they go until whenever it looks like we've got enough people.

So, you've got Brawl, and you want to win this thing. What's in it for you? Well, I'm not richie-rich, so you get one Virtual Console game of your choice if you win. Plus glory and fame and a spot in ZU history for generations to come. Head to the thread right now and sign up! You've also got to be registered to sign up, so register now if you want to participate.

We are now reopening applications for the title of Content Manager.

Basically, your job will be to write the actual Zelda content of the site. For example, an Enemies page or a walkthrough. Our next step will be the LCT and TRR pages, and we still have some Brawl stuff to do also.

Just a warning - inappropriate content, such as sexual innuendo and avoidance of the swear filter, has been on the rise, and we are going to start deleting it on sight. Repeat offenses may result in infractions. If you see such content, please report it to a moderator.

Another issue on the rise - please do not hassle the moderators and make a big fuss every time a post is deleted or you're given an infraction. Whiny threads and profile message harassment have never helped anybody. If you have an issue with the decision of a moderator, take it up with them maturely and privately. Having to run around handing out tissues to every person who catches us doing our jobs gets irritating and makes things harder.

If you have a problem with a moderator's actions, here is what to do:
- Follow a mature course of action with dealing with it: PM the moderator in question FIRST and try to work it out maturely. IF that doesn't yield results, ONLY THEN make a BAWWWW thread about it.

- Therefore, BAWWWWW threads will be locked instantly if it is revealed that the person hasn't followed step 1 and jumped straight to 2.
